Lovely place, big rooms and fab panoramic sea views so obviously, my favourite spot was the balcony. Owners super friendly. Great Wi-Fi. Gorgeous garden.

Un petit paradis vu sur la mer que demander de plus !! Grande maison deux terrasse , coin jardin super beau plus petit coin détente en bas du jardin , au calme chaise longue pour se détendre coin barbecue . Maison propre deux grandes chambres avec leur salle de bain . Rapport qualité prix excellent je recommande cet endroit on a étais charmé ! Les propriétaires sont super sympa et attentionné petit clin d œil ils sont patient car on es arriver 1h en retard la maison n es pas facil à trouver ... point de repaire le restaurant épicerie llidio’s où on y mange bien pas cher et où on peu faire quelque courses il es à 20 mètre de la maison propriétaire très sympa aussi

Ein modernes, gemütliches und wirklich gut ausgestattetes Haus mit schönen Terrassen und einem hübschen Garten. Die Lage ist günstig, um mit dem Mietwagen die Ziele der Südküste zu erreichen: Baden direkt im Calheta (Sandstrand!), die Hochebene, die südlichen Orte bis Funchal... Alles kein Problem. Ein toller Meerblick und ein ganz herzlicher Service durch die Vermieterin runden das Ganze perfekt ab. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Absolut zu empfehlen!

We stayed at this lovely villa for 7 nights in late July. Home from home with excellent facilities and a lovely garden to enjoy. Great location a few minutes from one of the main roads in the west of Madeira. Although we spent a good part of our week exploring the island by car, we enjoyed a lazy day on the Friday and lounged around the house which was a very welcome opportunity to relax, enjoy the garden and sunbathe. Fully equipped amenities and both shower and bathroom available we were spoilt for choice. Local shop providing essentials like coffee, milk, wine, bread etc on the other side of the road.We very much enjoyed our stay and we would recommend to friends and family. We would recommend car hire to make best use of your stay.

For first-timers to Madeira the villa was an ideal base from which we could start to sample the joys of this fabulous destination. The villa is in an excellent location with magnificent views south over the ocean. Very well laid out on two floors the accommodation exceeded expectations with everything that you need for a relaxing stay being provided. We met the charming couple on arrival who could not have been more friendly and welcoming. There is a useful shop/restaurant literally across the road, and a comprehensively stocked supermarket a short walk down the steep access road (but a rather longer walk back up!). We were blessed with excellent weather - while the UK shivered! This villa is definitely to be recommended.

A very well equipped house with a nice view in a peaceful and calm neighbourhood. The contact to the kind owners was very easy and pleasant, there is nothing at all to complain about. Thanks a lot, Sarah and Ciaran, for your warm welcome and your perfect support. We had a great time and will certainly return to this place when spending next vacation on Madeira.

The accommodation was fully equipped and wanted for nothing is set within a peaceful tranquil location. Ocean views from all the major rooms within the property. The convenient shop/ restaurant opposite having a very friendly and helpful owner, Llidia. Our visit in early May unfortunately had cool evenings so we weren’t able to benefit from the fully equipped and so practical BBQ that abutts the kitchen. The communication with the owners was efficient and timely. We had no problems at all with our stay and did not need to trouble them. Likewise they did not push themselves on us and gave us space. Meeting only when they arrived to say goodbye on our last day. A very open and friendly Irish couple who we instantly felt at lease with. If you want a simple trouble free and peaceful break then I fully recommend this lovely home from home. Michael

A wonderful rental house that feels like a family home owned by a very helpful and charming family. From the planning stage (which was tricky due to the fact that we have a disabled daughter) to the final day, when they organised the taxi to the airport, they could not have done more to make our stay a pleasant one. We hope to return sometime and would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

We have just returned from a week at Villa Murphy and I think it is the best holiday home we have ever stayed in (and there have been many). Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable with everything you could need. Location is quiet and away from the crowds but close to most amenities with a shop/restaurant just across the road. Sarah and Ciaran made us feel so welcome and sure that we could contact them if there were any problems. Luckily we didn't need to as everything worked perfectly. We can't wait to go back and would recommend Villa Murphy to anyone.
