The property was beautiful with amazing views and spectacular sunsets. The property was well equipped and close to a grocery store. The hosts were great and quick to respond to any questions. The location is great for a getaway but you will need to plan day trips to tourist attractions. This was our first visit to PEI and would definitely look at this property when we return.

This was my first experience renting for a vacation with VRBO and Dave and Nancy couldn’t have been better hosts. The place is absolutely stunning and was spotless upon arrival. Everything is labelled clearly around the house , plenty of day to day items to use and a everything you could want to help you create a seafood and lobster feast ! The property is gorgeous and house has plenty of room for everyone. The views are stunning and the cliffs and waterfront are so much fun to explore. There are even some games and rainy day things for the kids. Communication was excellent with Dave and property managers, we booked a week for next year because we were so impressed with the house , the views and the overall experience! Can’t wait to go back !

The property was in a beautiful location and the house was very clean. It was sunny for our visit and the house gets lots of afternoon sun. The path down to the beach was difficult for the grandparents and we definitely had to keep a close eye on our 4 year old, but we enjoyed the views and privacy.

We had a great time at this property! The house is beautifully decorated, equipped with everything you need, and the views are simply spectacular! If you are looking for fabulous sunsets and a quiet atmosphere, this is the place. Communication with Dave and the property manager was seamless. See you next year!

We stayed at the property with our children (19 & 21) and their partners in this wonderful home. The house is even more beautiful than the photos. Perfect location far from everything, calm and rest is assured. We explored the beach area, with the rocks and sandy beach, what a beautiful setting so much that the kids did not want to explore public beaches , they preferred the privacy and calm that we had along the shore. As already had been in PEI a few times when the kids were kids, we enjoyed discovering this less touristy region. We still made a day in Cavendish to find a little nostalgia. Mini-golf and ice cream at Cow's! We also went to buy our lobsters directly from the fishermen's wharf less than 3 minutes from the house, what an experience. We also played golf, and rode our road bike (note that there is no shoulder on the road, but motorists are very courteous, and change lanes when passing). Finally, we were able to admire the wonderful sunset every evening. So many magical and precious moments when life seems that's was well needed in these unprecedented time... Thank you to the hosts for sharing this magnificent house with us, we would be staying there for a while :) We will be back for sure !

We had a delightful experience at Dave and Nancy’s home. As hosts they left no amenity unaddressed. The location was gorgeous and although we had to drive a bit to get to some of the main PEI attractions it was worth it. Already talking about booking again!

Beautiful property with lots of space for our family, none of the teenagers had to share a bed which they we thankful for. The house had everything you could need to prepare meals. The cliffs and beaches around the property were beautiful, full of adventure and treasure. A great property!

The accommodations are excellent with a peaceful surroundings.

Our family and friends spent a week at Dave and Nancy's place and all we were left saying is WOW! The home looks as good if not better than the pictures. We made great use of the lobster pot, but the biggest surprise we enjoyed was the beautiful private beach! There was no need to go anywhere! It was as nice if not nicer than any other beach we visited. Kids and adults alike had a great time. Everything you need is within a 1/2hr drive for food and drink! This was one of the best cottage rental experiences we have had in the past 10yrs of renting cottages!

This beautiful home provided stunning views of the Northumberland Straight, nightly spectacular sunsets (the back windows face west), and had everything we needed for a wonderful week away in PEI. We enjoyed the remote location on the northwest shore, the fantastic cliffs and rugged beach (did some swimming and snorkeling), the nearby lighthouses, and the nearby quality restaurants (Northport Pier was our favourite). Golf at the close-by Mill River was amazing too. Hoping that next summer will again include a week (or more) at this wonderful location.
