Downstairs is also the bathroom with walk-in rain shower. Upstairs are the two bedrooms: one bedroom is furnished with a queen-size double bed. In the other bedroom there are two single beds that can be joined together to form a comfortable king-size double bed if required. Outside is a beautiful garden with lawn and flowers and shrubs typical of Madeira. The Hideaway has a super-fast internet connection (500 Mbps) - ideal for home office working away from home. BEDROOM AND BATHROOM Bedroom 1, first floor, queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm), sea view and direct access to one of the sun terraces. Bedroom 2, first floor, two single beds (90 x 190 cm), can be joined to form a king size bed (180 cm x 190 cm) if required, sea view and direct access to one of the sun terraces. Sofa bed (140 cm x 200 cm) in the living room. Baby travel cot (60 cm x 120 cm) if required: Free of charge. Please indicate if it is needed so that we can prepare everything. Bathroom, ground floor, family bathroom with sink, toilet and walk-in shower. LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM Bright and modern living and dining room with pull-out four-seater sofa and an armchair, flat screen TV with Netflix and Disney+ access as well as numerous national and international TV channels (in the unlikely event of boredom), Bluetooth speakers. Round dining table for up to 6 people. KITCHEN Fully equipped eat-in kitchen with 4-ring electric hob, built-in electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. OUTDOORS Beautiful south facing sun terrace with dining table for 6 people, electric sun awning and a charcoal barbecue. Garden with sunbeds and parasols. Two further sun terraces: One with a sun lounge for 4 people, the other with two rocking chairs. Ideal for chilling out or having a drink at sunset. OTHER Laundry room with washing machine, dryer, clothes horse, iron and ironing board. Secure parking for up to 2 cars - one car in the garage and a second in the yard. Car hire is recommended in most accommodation in Madeira, although not essential. INTERNET The house has a very fast broadband internet connection (500 Mbps) with a Wi-Fi point that covers the entire property and can be used free of charge. Ein wirklich tolles Ferienhaus mit einem Wahnsinnsausblick aufs Meer! Super ausgestattet mit allem, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht - vom Grill über Strandequipment bis hin zum mobilen Lautsprecher für den Chillout-Sound auf einer der drei (!) Terrassen. Außerdem: Mega nette Vermieter, die immer erreichbar und extrem sympathisch in der Kommunikation sind. Ab 2023 soll es sogar noch einen Pool geben - wir kommen wieder!

The house is a gem in Madeira to enjoy the tranquility, the views and the house! It has absolutely everything and more, it is designed to the last detail for the comfort and convenience of the guests. Bright, airy, and beautiful, the Hideaway Madeira is a wonderful property. Sitting quietly at the end of a winding road, it overlooks the ocean. With several lovely terraces, there are many places to relax, enjoy a sunset, and bottle of wine. The interior is just as comfortable as it is stylish. A spacious living area, perfect kitchen, fresh fabulous bedrooms, and very comfortable beds. The hosts really have thought of everything. From the lighting to the linens, thoughtful touches are everywhere. Excellent furnishings, kitchen supplies, retractable awning, washer & dryer, yoga mats, portable speaker, great wi-fi, fantastic bedding, and a warm welcome. There are even beach bags and beach towels. The location suited us perfectly. Its quiet, with only a handful of close neighbours – and the pretty town of Prazeres is a short drive away. Our favourite thing was ending our day in the lounge chairs, and and as much as we enjoyed exploring the island, we equally looked forward to coming home to the Hideaway and enjoying the stunning view.

The view from this place is just gorgeous wtih sunlight from dawn until dusk and a beautiful starry sky at night. The house has lovely furniture with much attention to detail. The hostess is just lovely. Hope to be back soon.

We had a wonderful time in Madeira and staying at the Hideaway. It is the cutest cottage with much attention to detail. The views are stunning and it is easy to get around the southern and western parts of the island. Some hiking trails start in the village or not far away. Most of them are less traveled by tourists so we could really enjoy the beautiful nature the island has to offer. We will definately be back.
