For a cook-free few days it's perfect - plenty of eateries in the area - we found downside in Brookes was the eating area, it was too small. Well presented, secure, apartment but clothes storage really limited to wardrobe.

We had stayed at Much Wenlock apartments before, in the Walton apartment, which we found really lovely, but the Brookes apartment is even better, with very high specification presented in every aspect of the accommodation.

This small apartment is well sited for a weekend break. You can find free parking nearby and then explore the area on foot as there are loads of lovely walks in the village and beyond. A small supermarket opposite has a good range of items for self catering. The accommodation comprises a comfortable bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. A settee has been placed in the kitchen and there is a breakfast bar and stools for eating. All in all good accommodation for the price charged. Our problem was with the noise. On both nights people in the apartment above came in during the early hours of the morning, waking us up. Has it been let to pub or restaurant workers as there is very little else open at that time in this small village. And the bedroom is right on the high street. On the Saturday morning we were woken at 6am by people setting up market stalls on the other side of the road, and 7 am on the Sunday. May be less of a problem mid-week.

This was a beautifully presented and immaculately clean little town house apartment. My fiancé and I stayed here to get a feel for the quaint historic town of Much Wenlock and to enjoy a break from the norm. We met the owners who were genuine kind and lovely people. The apartment was a perfect size, finished to an exceptional standard and had all the mod cons you would need. The kitchen was lovely and everything you would need was provided. We had a really comfortable sleep and both commented on the noticeable quality bed linen. We would both highly recommend this as a place to take a nice break and take in an unspoilt wealth of British character. A little gem!

We took a long romantic weekend to Much Wenlock - a lovely town in the middle of Shropshire. The apartment is on the High Street which is really quiet on a Saturday night - no noise issues there! Opposite there's a market with a fruit and veg stall on Fridays and Saturdays, the famous Ryan's butchers just up the High Street, and a Chinese takeaway a couple of doors up. There's very little to say about the apartment because it's so good - it's brand new, clean and well equipped. As ever, take your own potato peeler if you're going to cook, but the sharp knives were better than the ones I have at home... Highly recommended and we look forward to going back.
