I stayed in the Blakeway studio for 5 weeks while in town on business. The flat (apartment) looked just like the pictures (possibly better). The building is historic, just like the rest of the Much Wenlock village, but the inside has been modernized and feels very clean and new. Doug and Julie are the nicest folks you want to meet, and the occasional treats and cakes that showed up were "icing" on the cake. Shropshire is a nice area of England. I communted to Telford during the week, but i was able to travel to nearby towns on the weekend and do some site-seeing. The location here was great for that. I'm in my last few days here as I write this, and i'm really not ready to leave. I've seen other reviews mention the stairs on this flat, but it wasn't a big deal for me. I liked being on the top floor, and the room was very quiet. Don't tell my work, but the whole trip felt like a holiday. Thanks Doug and Julie for putting together a very nice place. I won't hesitate to stay here again.

The studio has a lovely comfortable bedroom, with an ensuite shower room and a separate compact kitchen/sitting space. It is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for our week-end stay-the welcome card and cakes were an added touch. We parked in the car park adjacent to the gated entrance and had no problems with finding a space-maximum fee was £3 for 24 hours. The studios are ideally placed overlooking the high street, with pubs, restaurants and small shops with a few minutes walk-despite this we had no problems at all with noise, even though it was the week-end. The Blakeway(one of several of the Wenlock studios) is accessed by an outside stairway, with another set of stairs inside-the only problem we had with this is the outside light doesn't come on until you are standing in the courtyard, which meant having to lock up and go down the stairs in the dark so a torch is advised. Much Wenlock is a lovely market town and a good base for exploring and we hope to return. I would definitely recommended Wenlock studios as it was one of the nicest and best placed apartments we have stayed in

We have just returned fro a weekend stay In Blakeway Apartment. The apartment is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owners have obviously put a lot of care and love into their business venture!The studios are well placed in Much Wenlock so we could leave the car in the evenings and choose from several pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. There are very good walks in and around the village and also enough shops for anything you may need. We visited Ludlow, Bridgnorth and Ironbridge all a short drive away.

A getaway to rival most in this apartment situated above the high street with a back yard entry. The proximity to the high street gives you the convenience of location to explore the village and yet it is quiet enough to not notice it. The apartment is complete with a high standard of finish and comes with everything you need for a few days away, as well as weeks as in my case. The kitchen does not have a freezer but most people won’t notice this. If the other cottages are occupied you may need to park in a pay and display (limited times and days) out back but this is not an issue if you are exploring the area. You can park on the property drive otherwise. The village can be explored on foot and has great access to the surrounding areas.

Lovely, well cared for & beautifully presented studio. Very well positioned in the town centre with hostelries close by to have a meal in and a couple of drinks. We had two good long walks on the two days we were there which was the object of the visit to that area, and the weather was reasonably kind to us. Would certainly return to Much Wenlock and most certainly to the Blakeway apartment.
