Awesome quiet place.

We had a wonderful family weekend enjoying all that beautiful British Columbia coast has to offer. Accommodations were excellent, clean and well organized. Our host Mike was very accommodating to all our needs. The scenery was spectacular. Lots of out doorsy things to do. We did a fishing charter for the day and had a fab dinner out at the West Coast Wilderness lodge. Recommend to anyone looking to do a fun adventurous BC outdoor weekend.

Mike was very friendly and responsive. We went with another family and had a great time! We had 3 kids ages 7 and twin 8 year olds. They had fun discovering little creatures on the small beach to the side of the dock and fishing off the dock for shiners. It was nice to have our own private dock and rent a boat at Bathgates nearby. We caught some rock cod and had them for dinner! Mike was so kind and gave us some prawns as well! The bedrooms are a good size and even though the king size bed was upstairs it was not stuffy like I found at other rentals. Mike’s place also has air conditioning which was a luxury! The kitchen is well equipped and well labeled on the outside which was a time saver! There are two bathrooms which is nice when you have separate families renting together. The second bathroom accesses on the outside so you can easily rinse off of you go swimming off the dock. The dock was easily accessible as well and had lots of room to fish off. Some places we’ve rented had 100 stairs going to the dock so this was a pleasant surprise. The kids were given a s’mores Kit by Mike and they really enjoyed roasting them under the stars by the campfire. Thank goodness there was no ban this year! Hope to come back next year! Thanks Mike!

Mike's place is beautiful and better than advertised. The cabin has everything you need and sits right on the edge of the water. We enjoyed relaxing on the dock, campfires, fishing and hiking the nearby Skookumchuck narrows. Will definitely be back! Mike is also a great host. Really helpful and friendly.

Mike, you made us feel so welcome the moment we arrived! Our dear friends from Tanzania thoroughly enjoyed their stay and the teenage boys absolutely loved their first fishing experience! Thank you! You truly went above and beyond to make our getaway a very memorable time!

Our group of 10 adults had the most amazing experience at Mike's place! To start, the property was just stunning, clean, spacious and an absolute dream escape from the city. You can't ask for a better location. The cabin slept all 10 of us very comfortably, and the ocean views from the entire house can't be beat. We spent the days swimming off the dock and getting up close to all kinds of wildlife. The property is picturesque, private and large (we even managed to get in a full volleyball game on the grass field). To top it all off, Mike is the friendliest & warmest guy you could meet. He makes you feel right at home and has all kinds of neat stories and information about the area. Talking with him made our trip! Thanks Mike! We'll definitely be back next year.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house is nice and can fit a bigger group. The big patio facing the Ocean is the best feature. Also, communication with the owner was easy. He was very welcoming and generous with his time and knowledge 😉🙏

nice clean home with a large kitchen and deck with a fantastic view of the water. dock too! large open area for playing soccer and games. pod of Orcas came by 100' from the dock while we were there - amazing sight! 2 minutes from the world famous Skookumchuck Rapids - a must see!

The place was great for a group of 10 and our little dog. Great location with tons to do around. Great access to the water from private dock. Few of us went kayaking and a nice cool swim. Trail to skookumchuck narrows close to the property was a really nice walk as well. Looking forward to another stay in the near future.

We enjoyed gathering our family (kids and grandkids) for a wonderful weekend stay, comfortable and modern accommodations, beautiful waterfront setting. The host was very helpful and even took time out of his busy schedule to teach a couple of our guys how to fish off the dock. Would come back for sure!
