This was our third time staying at Xanadu East and it never disappoints. The house is perfect for our family and the location can't be beat. We had a lovely stay and are looking forward to staying again.

Everything went smoothly from booking, payments, and communication! This is our second time staying at Xanadu and definitely will return! When we weren't at the beach we spent alot of time on the decks drinking coffee, eating dinner, then at night just listening to the waves and star gazing. Xanadu is a great place to unwind and relax! The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived and it was great a bonus we didn't have to worry about umbrellas and chairs since they were provided! Tony and Johanna truly have a gem of a place and we are so grateful that we got to stay there for our family vacation!

Best location, beach right at you feet. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of beach chairs available. Gas and charcoal grills available. We used the gas grills as it was windy while we were there. Best views and sounds of the ocean!!! This is a vacation my family will take again. Owners were easy to get a hold of for questions.

Xanadu East is located in a great part of Emerald Isle if you just want to enjoy the beach and nothing else (not that things to do are far away). The beach is right outside the door and the location is not crowded. The house itself is nice (maybe seen better days but it is a beach house so that's pretty typical) with two awesome porches overlooking the beach and an open floor plan on the main living area. The house is also the most well-stocked beach house I've stayed at so I really appreciate that. We had some water issues (completely out of their control) but Tony was extremely communicative and it did not affect us in the slightest. I would absolutely stay here again.

Our family of 6 adults, 1 toddler and 1 dog enjoyed our stay at this great house. It has everything you could possibly need for a vacation get away. We loved sitting out on the upper deck at the end of the day watching the sunsets.

Sitting on the deck watching the ocean is just one thing we love about Xanadu East. The kitchen is well appointed and the beds and furniture are comfortable. The views are great, and there is everything you need for a fun family vacation at the beach.
