Living for almost 2 weeks in a typical working class neighborhood was just what we wanted to do. We were impressed with the friendly, helpful people and always felt perfectly safe.

Security was good, was an experience in island living which is what I enjoy when I travel . The Home itself is a little oasis in which to relax after touring or spending a day shopping, swimming or snorkeling.

I highly recommend Casa Kudawecha! The home was very clean and full of anything we needed for our vacation. The local hosts Fred and Lia were very nice, gave us great tips on local attractions and restaurants. Lia even dropped off fresh coffee pods 10 minutes after I texted to ask where I could purchase. The hot tub and outdoor shower were enjoyed many times. The location is private but only 5 minutes to the beach and Palm Beach attractions. I will definitely try to book Casa Kudawecha next time I go to Aruba.

We enjoyed our time in Aruba from March 22-29, 2019. Casa Kudawecha was a great central, quiet and comfortable location for us. It is 10-12 minutes to the main beaches. About 15 minutes from the airport and less than 15 minutes to Tierra del Sol Golf Club. We don't like staying right on the beaches for lots of reasons and so this property work well for us. We like being able to cook some meals "at home," and like being able to go to the beaches and come home to the quiet of "our own place." Fred and Lia manage the property well and were there to greet us and show us around. They were friendly and welcoming and available to us, as needed. Bianca (the owner) was easy to work with as we considered this house. She was always at the ready to answer our questions and didn't rush us to a decision. It was a smooth VRBO transaction. The house was clean and comfortable, with A/C in the bedrooms, always a cool breeze flowing through the open doors and a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms and the bathroom, w/shower, are not large, but adequate. The Jacuzzi was relaxing and we had everything we needed for beach trips. The washing machine and outdoor rotary Clothesline was a plus. This was our second trip to Aruba and our second VRBO rental in Aruba. We thought this house was good value for what we needed. You do want to have a car if you stay here. There is some new home construction taking place in the neighborhood, so perhaps there will be more neighbors in years to come, but this house is at the end of the street (dirt road) and offers good privacy. It is a dirt road off the main road (Route 3), so the car does get a bit dusty, but being at the end of the road, means there is little traffic by the house and no dust from cars. There is an excellent security system and good night lighting on the property. There is an apartment attached to the house, that is apparently rented by someone else, but they were not there during our time, so I can't comment on how that would have felt. I'm guessing it would have been just fine, since that apartment is on the opposite end of the property from the garden and Jacuzzi. All in all a great value, comfortable property and friendly hosts. We would stay here again!

Spent a week in this beautiful private home that backs up to undeveloped land yet is very close to some of the best beaches. Owners mentioned that they designed and actually built this home and quality shows. Home has two good sized bedrooms and nice bath. There were just two people on our trip but house is very spacious with two private bedroom. The pictures in the listing are current and accurate. It really is as beautiful as it looks. Both bedrooms have a/c that we only ran at night. During the day the breeze flows through house keeping it very comfortable so no a/c needed. Wifi is provided and worked great. Kitchen overlooks outdoor dining area, hot tub and beautiful garden area. Kitchen is well set up for cooking but we took advantage of seafood on the beach. Walled enclosure provides privacy. We enjoyed staying in classic Aruba Cunucu style home rather than cookie cutter condo with mobs of people. Very short drive to Arishi, Eagle and Palm beaches. Markets are close by for provisions. The owners have small & larger coolers, four beach chairs and towels for beach. Some days we used their chairs and grabbed spot under a tree or rent a canopy/umbrella/chairs from beach vendors for shade. A washing machine is provided and worked great. Hang out clothes to dry on the laundry rack and they dry quickly in the sun. The back patio provides shade all day and hot tub was a plus in the evenings. Temp in hot tub is just right for summer beach weather. We definitely recommend and would gladly stay there again. The cost, privacy and location can't be beat when compared to condo alternatives. Caretaker and his wife live close by and met us at the house for check in to walk through all the features. They were available by chat or phone for questions and were very helpful with recommendations. We didn't have any issues where we needed but nice to have them available. For Google Maps dependent U.S. people you should get Maps.me app and download the Aruba map for offline use. Google can't find the house by address but dropped pin worked after we arrived. Practice with Maps.me it in U.S. as it is actually much more accurate for Aruba and we used it while there. We arrived after dark and the final turn onto the street is a bit hard to see the first time you arrive. The last short street is dirt and several new homes under construction but go on down to end of street and the house appears as you turn the last corner. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

We loved our stay at Casa Kudawecha! The house was perfect and had everything we could have asked for. Loved the hot tub!! Communication was great and easy throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again!

We can't say enough great things about this house and its caretakers. It's extremely comfortable and has every amenity you need, right down to a cooler and chairs to take to the beach. We highly recommend it and will definitely book again in the future.

A step away from the high rise hotels and cruise ships this desert oasis was the perfect blend of charm and quiet yet still close to dive shops and spots, restaurants and groceries. Bianca the owner very responsive and Fred the caretaker warm and welcoming. Loved the outdoor shower and the temperature of a hot tub perfect in this desert environment. My wife and I are from Vermont and retired. We stayed at Casa Kudawecha from 2/23-3/3/18 on our first trip to Aruba. The owners, Bianca and husband Willem built this fabulous home (inside and out) themselves and it is top quality throughout. The home is very clean and fully furnished with beautiful hardwood furniture and all the amenities needed for a great vacation. The location is only 5 minutes to great beaches and it's location makes for easy travel throughout the entire island. There are many great restaurants close by--our favorites were Bingo, Smokey Joe's, Casa Tua for pizza, and Barney's. There is a great full service supermarket called Ling and Sons IGA about 6 miles away with a great take out deli and salad bar. There are small grocery stores very close for incidentals. Great spacious home, great owners, very helpful if needed, and a truly great location.

This was our second stay at Casa Kudawecha in 2 years and I think this says it all. Well equipped house, clean, very safe, situated in a quiet neighborhood. Exactly how it is described in the advertising. You need a car if you want to rent this house but once you have it every corner of the island is in a short driving distance. Just 5 minutes to the beach and to hotels area. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners of the house, Bianca and Willem, who are very nice people and very helpful if you have any question/needs. We are hoping to return to Bianca's house very soon!
