Wanneer het systeem een probleem detecteert, wordt een beoordeling mogelijk automatisch afgekeurd, naar de junior bijdrager gestuurd voor goedkeuring, of handmatig beoordeeld door ons team van contentspecialisten die 24/7 aan de kwaliteit van de beoordelingen op onze website werken.
Ons team controleert elke beoordeling die op onze website geplaatst wordt en volgens onze bezoekers niet aan onze communityrichtlijnen voldoet.

Que dire, a part que ce séjour a été du début à la fin une parenthèse enchantée ! Même si nous n'avons pas pu voir Zvezda, elle a toujours répondu à mes mails, a été d'une grande écoute et gentillesse. Les gardiens, Claudia et Adonis, sont TELLEMENTS gentils !! Nous avons dormis dans les deux maisons, Ginger et Cacao, et que dire? Magnifique maison, décorées avec goûts, on s'y sent vraiment bien ! Le jardin ,la piscine, tout est parfait. Tous les soirs,sans exceptions, nous entendions les singes hurleurs, et un matin ils étaient face à notre chambre. Tous les jours, toucans et perroquets nous rendaient visite. A 2 min de la mer, 10 min de Puerto Viejo en voiture, c'est l'emplacement idéal ! Seul bémol au paradis : la piscine beaucoup trop chlorée ! Donc nous en avons peu profité. Mais on oublie vite cet inconvénient minime. Encore merci pour ce superbe séjour et j'espère revenir un jour !!

En general un muy bonito lugar, con casas preciosas en medio de la selva a pasos de bellas playas, buenos restaurantes. Las casas además son muy bonitas con mucho estilo, y se dispone de una piscina muy agradables. El único inconveniente es que el acceso no es fácil, recomiendo de todas maneras un vehículos 4WD, aunque las villas están a menos de 300mts de la carretera (es un camino muy empinado y lleno de barro). Por otra parte me parece que el mobiliario es un poco frágil para niños pequeños (tuvimos que pagar un reembolso por la rotura de un sillón)

Gorgeous property, just as pictures show. Highly recommend - Zvezda went above and beyond to have us arrive safely and get what we needed since we arrived after a week of heavy rain, which caused some plan changes. Claudia and Adonis were very nice and helpful! We had a great time!
We were awoken by howler monkeys some days, soft rainforest noises others, got to see a troop of capuchin monkeys playing in the trees by the pool, saw iguanas, macaws, toucans, parrots and many other birds in the jungle surrounding the property. Even caught a sloth crossing the road!
A wonderful vacation, do not hesitate to book this property!

Our family of 7 including 2 teens rented the entire property for 6 nights over the holidays. Everything was exactly as pictured in the photos. It is truly a paradise on the edge of the jungle. Zvezda was incredibly helpful and always responded promptly to any questions before and during our stay. We encountered several travel difficulties and she was able to help us locate a last minute transfer from the airport to the villas. The caretakers, Adonis and Claudia, were great. They were always there to let us in and out and help with taxis and provide clean towels. And although they could only speak Spanish and we can only speak English, Zvezda didn't mind serving as our interpreter and promptly communicated our needs with them. The location is wonderful. The villas are truly at the edge of the jungle and we were surrounded by nature and wildlife. During our stay on the property we saw toucans, lizards, a large iguana, a sloth and a group of small howler monkeys on the road to the beach. We also enjoyed a hike at Cahuita National Park where we saw many more monkeys, including the white faced cappuchin. The beach is at the bottom of the hill and was beautiful. It is a bit of a trek back up the hill, so might not be ideal for those with mobility issues. There is a great restaurant near the beach, Selvins, that is perfect for an easy lunch or dinner, with a nice variety on the menu. The food was good and well priced. We made a few trips into Puerto Viejo in the golf-cart-like taxis and enjoyed the souvenir shopping, brunch at Bread and Chocolate and some of the nightlife on New Year's Eve. Our favorite day of the trip was whitewater rafting on the Pacuare River with the Expladores company. Because there were several of us, they picked us up right at the bottom of the hill. The ride in the vans/bus was comfortable and the food they served for breakfast and lunch was quite good. Overall, our stay at Cabinas Ginger & Cacao was fantastic. Visitors do need to know that they will see bugs and lizards in the villas, but they never bothered us - and even our 15 year old who hates bugs never complained. Because of our travel issues we missed out on 2 days at the villas. I think if we were able to be there for the full 6 nights/7 days we had planned, it would have been the perfect amount of time to enjoy all there is to see and do. Our family highly recommends this rental and would jump at the chance to go back.

This property is beautiful and the caretakers are lovely and helpful. You will be in the jungle, and a short walk to the beach. It’s private and the pool area is gorgeous! Loved it and would stay here again.

We rented both houses for a family of 4. More space then we needed but we enjoyed having multiple rooms/beds. The view from the top house was amazing and we spent several hours on the porch watching wildlife and the tropical rain come down. The pool was a welcome refresher after exploring the area all day on bikes then walking back to the property up the big hill. It was a workout but felt great:) The owner and caretakers were great. They were we friendly and responsive. They even arranged for a taxi to come us up. We had a great time! Thank you:)

The location is fantastic and is walkable to the beach and some restaurants. It is a difficult walk up the hill to the villa, but who doesn’t need cardio! 4 wheel drive truck recommended. Also bring your own pillows as the ones at the villa are not very comfortable. There is no air conditioning. It does get hot but the views are worth the sometimes discomfort. Adonis and Claudia are fantastic! Can’t wait to go back again!! Thanks Zvezda!!!!

First time in costa rica. Found the property by ch...
First time in costa rica. Found the property by chance on Travelocity. We were a family of 4 using the 2 houses Cacao and Ginger, which were exactly as in the pictures.
The caretakers Klaudia & Adonis live onsite & are always ready to help with whatever you might need.
There is a great bakery in town just 5 minutes away. Make sure you do the white water rafting, an incredible adventure. The pool was very refreshing. Sitting on the porch in the evening you could hear all sorts of wild life.
We saw the biggest iguana on the property, I've ever seen, a huge yellow guy in a tree. Absolutely amazing. Howler monkey right outside the window as well.
If you are looking for a jungle/beach pleace to stay, stop looking this is your place.
