We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage. The village itself is great with a lovely local shop around the corner and big playground and recreation ground in walking distance. The cottage itself has all the home comforts and decorated beautifully with lots of interesting artwork. Owners were very helpful in making sure we had a comfortable stay and would definitely return. Great base for exploring North Norfolk.

We have been coming to Norfolk for 30 years staying in holiday accommodation and this is by far the most disappointing holiday we have experienced. On arrival we noticed that the main toilet seat was split in two which made me question why the cleaner had not at least reported it .The furnishings I suppose were meant to be shabby chic but only managed shabby and looked as though they had been taken out of the back of a skip. Most of the storage in the seating area was full of bedding, so could not be used. On our first 2 days we could not control the heating, when we finally phoned up Norfolk Cottages which incidentally took 30-minutes to reply, we were eventually told that the owner controlled the heating remotely and had forgotten to switch it on. For this he apologised and rectified the situation, however Norfolk Cottages also said that we should contact the owner directly. Unfortunately was there was no evidence of a phone number or an address For the first time in staying in holiday accommodation there was no welcome pack and also no sign of a visitor's book. The TV was poor quality with poor resolution and sound Also there were only empty cleaning products in both toiles and my wife had to purchase them herself I recognise that extra time may be needed for cleaning purposes during covid restrictions however there was a cupboard full of games and toys and I wonder how these were sanitized before our arrival. Having to vacate at 9am eventually meant we left the afternoon before. Because of covid this was our first holiday away in over 2 years and it was a very disappointing experience. I would not be able to recommend this cottage to anyone and would think twice about using Norfolk Cottages again.
