Hillside Eden Villa - truly a spot of paradise!
I stayed at Hillside Eden villa in Bali for 4 days and 3 nights in August 2024 with a group of us totalling 7, including 2 young children (5 and 3yo).
We were looking for a relaxing and secluded getaway and we found it at this villa! We booked the villa through Airbnb and the communication with the host Andrew was superb. He arranged our airport transfer, our daily breakfast and other meals, and our activities in the area.
The location of the villa is stunning. It is perched on a hillside overlooking the jungle and the rice fields. The view is breathtaking and the surroundings are peaceful and serene. The villa itself is spacious, clean, comfortable, set in some large well tended grounds and well-equipped. It has a private pool. The staff are friendly, helpful, and discreet. They kept the villa clean, cooked delicious meals, and made an extensive range of cocktails.
The best aspect of our stay was the feeling of being in a paradise away from the crowds and the noise. We enjoyed the privacy, the tranquillity and being surrounded nature. The worst aspect was the distance from the main attractions and the shops. We had to rely on the driver to get around and it took a long time to reach some places. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the benefits of staying at this villa and its not a bad base to travel around Ubud, minus the hustle and bustle. Ubud central is around 3--60 minutes away depending on traffic, but with good planning and some activities fairly close by this was not an issue. In fact it made the break awesome in many ways.
I can not emphasise how great a host Andrew was. From courteous communication prior to our arrival and constant liaison during our stay. He really went out of his way to ensure we had a dream time! His customer service and care were also reflected by all of the staff onsite.
I would highly recommend Hillside Eden villa to other travellers who are looking for a unique and luxurious experience in Bali. It is a perfect place to relax, recharge, and reconnect with your loved ones. You will not regret it.

Private Jungle Estate in Ubud Gianyar
The villa is very tranquil and surrounded by nature. You are waking up to a beautiful scenery of hills and skies. The Villa is also located near rice fields and offers a trekking route to a waterfall. Many other outdoor activities are available for those seeking experience in the countryside.
Andrew was very helpful and also response quickly and offering solutions when we need asisstance for anything. We enjoyed staying there.

Tranquil and Private
Simply amazing. Our host Andrew personally greeted us on arrival and nothing was too much to ask. Privacy and Relaxation set in the middle of the jungle. Amazing quick and friendly service!!! A wonderful quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the regular tourist spots. A very special find!!

You will never want to leave
Andrew and his family were absolutely wonderful. They were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Very sweet and thoughtful people. The villa was amazing, tucked away in the jungle about 20 minutes from Ubud, Gorgeous rooms with beautiful views. The food was delicious and the pool was the perfect temperature. I didn't want to leave. Spoil yourself next time you are in Bali and stay here. You won't regret it.

Family Vacation Of A Lifetime
My family of 5 stayed at Hillside Eden for 4 days 3 nights in April. We had such a wonderful time with Andrew and his staff. Aside from the beautiful views from the entrance gate to the rice terraces behind the property, Hillside Eden is truly an ideal spot for total relaxation and bliss. We had daily massages, delicious meals of our choosing, private driver, and on site hike with a guide. The upstairs game room was great entertainment for our family. The pool was as refreshing as the delicious cocktails freshly made at the onsite bar. The staff at Hillside Eden was incredibly accommodating, kind, informative, and sincere. My favorite experience was the hike. Our guide climbed a coconut tree and cut some coconuts down for us! Then he cut them open so we could drink the water and eat the jelly. We will always remember our family adventure in Bali at Hillside Eden. We will return one day!

Best Villa and team
Eden Hillside villa is the best villa I have stayed. The village manager, Andrew, and his team went all way to assist us in making our District kickoff a success.
They hand made some of the deco so that we can have our Hawaii-theme dinner. Andrew even set aside time to discuss and understand what I would like my meeting and dinner to be. He is really kind, patient and best villa manager. I really appreciate their assistance and hospitality. Every corner of the villa left great memories and all of us enjoy the stay very much .

Hillside Eden - it's remote but it's stunning
It's just stunning. We arrived at night so didn't really appreciate too much until the next day. When you first pull those curtains back and see that view of jungle, valley, mountains, clouds, skies and rice padi fields. It is breath-taking. Maybe pop out to your balcony and buzz one of the guys to come running with a cold beer to sit and soak it in, or wander down to dip in the heated pool. Or pop upstairs for a game of pool come to that. We had a 50th birthday here, so mixed ages from 5 to 50, and we all had a blast. You will need to get out occasionally though - it's a 4 wall thing, albeit a very big 4-wall thing - you are alone out here, so to get some variety we popped to Ubud and also to White Sand Beach - easily do-able and all organised by Andrew and the guys at Hillside. You have your own bar and restaurant too and the guys churn our some really good food, but will also shop for you if you want to turn your hand to cooking/having a BBQ as we did for New Year's Eve. It's a stunning place, truly.

Just beautiful, in the middle of the jungle, attentive staff.
The rooms are lovely and comfortable with beautiful balinese timber ceilings. the grounds are gardens are beautiful and serene. The pool was great and the staff were very quick to attend to our every need. Andrew was especially wonderful in organising things and all the staff were very kind and helpful.
It happened to be my birthday while we were there and the staff surprised me by playing guitar and all singing Happy Birthday to me. I found out later that they had researched how to play and sing the song that day just so they could do that for me. So lovely of them to make all that effort.
A great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. i would love to go back. We didn't want to go home.

The perfect place for an art retreat.
Magnificent gardens with amazing views over the jungle to the mountains. The staff were beautiful, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They organised our travel needs, activities and fresh delicious food - it was an authentic Balinese experience! A big thank you to Andrew and staff for making us feel like family.
