I try to take a vacation there at least twice a year. It is a place to run away from the hectic world. A place to relax. A place to reload A place to feel at home. For anyone wishing to find peace away from the hustle and bustle of Eilats holiday resorts, this is the place. A true gem of a guest house set amidst the tranquil mountains of the Solomon River with views to the desert and the sea. I cannot recommend this place highly enough for those looking for peace and queit in a magical setting. For those looking for hotel style accomodation - look elsewhere but for those seeking a bit of the old Eilat with very comfortable and stylish furnishings comprising of naturally sourced materials from the location - you have found it. The Whouse is ecelectic, Eldad has used local branches of wood as details in the furnishings such as for coat hangers and towel hangers that adds atmosphere and style to an already lovely accomodation. Space was not an issue as the Shita room we stayed in had space in abundance. It was like home from home, but I liked this better then my own home. Comfortable, lush, serene, and of high standards of furnishing decor and style. One of the best choices I have ever made. Ammenities are plenty and close by, the sea is but 250m away, the coral beach nature reserve but a kilometer away - this is perfect for exploring all that Eilat has to offer. Our host Eldad made our stay wonderul, he provided loads of local information, help and he was very friendly and easy to communicate with. He assisted us in everyway possible and it would not have been the same without him and his dogs and of course Tofu, the amorous cat. Our kids cried when they left the pets and the house as they had bonded with them by the end of our stay. Dont be put off by a review on airbnb, will and lucy the 2 dogs are an absolute pleasure to have there. Very Child friendly and they do not bark into the night or howl at the moon as suggested elswhere. All in all - I am going back there next year without a doubt. The best self catering accommodation in Eilat - Period.
