The Spice House is the perfect vacation rental. The house itself is beautiful and perfectly laid out with three beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, a terrific great room with a wonderful open kitchen, and a stunning pool deck surrounded by beautiful gardens and view you can never tire of. The layout of the house and its location high on the hill side at the end of a dead end road surrounded by gardens and tree guarantees tranquility, peace and privacy. The hospitality was amazing, with wonderful support from Fernanda and her housekeeper and local connections, and with all the amenities we could ask for. Bequia is a hidden gem. The whole island was easily accessible by car or taxi in minutes (I personally recommend the taxi option!). The walk into town and the boardwalk was all downhill and only about 20 to 30 minutes depending on how leisurely we wanted to stroll. (However make sure you get the "gate key" and take that route, and I do not recommend the walk back unless you are particularly fit.) We connected with Fernanda's local taxi team who were super friendly and always available whenever and wherever we needed them. They also toured us around the island and gave us lots of local history and perspective. The combination of The Spice House, Bequia and Fernanda provided us the best vacation we have ever had. We were there for more than two weeks and did not want to leave. We are already planning to go back.

The Spice House Villa is an amazing place. The owner Fernanda helped make our trip to Bequia the Best Ever. If you have 1 couple or 3 couples this place is perfect with the 3 bedroom/3 baths all with views of the Sail Boats down below. Since it is at the end of the road up in the hills, it is very private and has everything you need. The pool views are outstanding and we could see all the Fireworks on New Year's Eve from the pool deck too . The kitchen, den, dining inside are so spacious and we loved having coffee on the covered patio each morning. We rented an SUV which made is super easy to get around the entire island to all the restaurants/ beaches/ boat marina etc.. Taxis are easy to get too if you don't want to drive but it is always fun in the islands to go explore on your on schedule. We cannot wait to get back to Bequia but so cannot wait to enjoy staying at the Spice House Villa Again soon!!! Thanks again for making our stay on Bequia for Christmas and New Years one we will always remember!!

This villa is amazing! You have to drive up some steep hills to get to it, so having a rental vehicle would be helpful, especially if you plan on exploring the island or going to the beaches - which we highly recommend. The view from the pool is exquisite! The house is beautiful and the rooms were extremely comfortable. Aneka, the housekeeper, had the rooms beautifully prepared and was incredibly warm and friendly. We forgot some important documents there at the house and she went out of her way to get them to us. Phil, the maintenance man, brought us a bag of delicious mangoes on our last day. Fernanda, the owner, was quick in responding to our questions and emails. This is a perfect, relaxing villa. It seemed like the owners thought of everything. Our only regret was that three nights there was not enough. Thank you for a great stay!!

Nothing short of amazing .... The Spice House offers the most breathtaking views over the hub of Bequai. In it's tucked away hillside location you have tranquility & can totally relax & recharge. A short drive down the hill & you have the most stunning beaches & laid back hustle of Port Elizabeth. The Spice House has everything you need for your stay with the most comfortable beds, luxurious linens & a fully equipped kitchen.... A really special place. I'm already wishing I was back there & look forward to my next visit. Thank you The Spice House

The exceptional style and grace are clearly evident in every aspect of this lovely one level villa. The architecture has been designed to capture this impressive location. We were warmly met on arrival by our housekeeper who showed us around. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable four poster beds, top quality white linen, wonderful atmosohere, ambience and privacy of this villa. The beautiful pool and spacaciius terrace invite guests to revel in the panoramic views. We sipped cocktails looking out to sea and into the sunset! You are guaranteed to relax and enjoy! We really had a most enjoyable stay at The Spice House, which exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We have stayed at many high end villas and cannot fault this one. - very highly recommended.
