Our family of three spent a week at Ulricke and Ulrich’s apartment and had incredibly peaceful and restful stay. The apartment is very clean and has everything needed to feel right at home, such as private parking spot, well-equipped kitchen, strong Wi-Fi, comfortable beds and a nice balcony.
Location is very convenient (safe and quiet residential area) and, although we had a rental car, the public transport is close by (a couple of bus stops and Hamburg Poppenbuttel S-bahn station). Several grocery stores (Edeka, Aldi, Penny, Rewe at Alstertal mall, etc.) and a lovely bakery (it was even open on Sunday!) is less than five-minute walk.
The communication with the owners was excellent, and the hosts ensured that we were comfortable and felt at home. The owners kindly arranged three bicycles for us and we truly enjoyed half of the day riding along the Alster.
In addition to Hamburg, we had day trips to Bremen, Lübeck and Schwerin.
Our stay was absolutely amazing, and we would definitely recommend Ulricke and Ulrich’s apartment to any family that loves adventure, but also wishes to enjoy Germany’s fresh air and nature to the fullest.
