Bon Accueil - Appartement très propre - Bémol, chambre côté rue très bruyante, impossibilité de dormir correctement même en fermant les fenêtres (impossibilité de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes, faute circulation importante, et dos d'âne en face fenêtre sur rue pavée), il faudrait l'installation de double vitrage phonique). par ailleurs, en ces temps de canicule, une climatisation serait la bienvenue. Sans installation de double vitrage phonique dans la chambre, et climatisation, nous ne conseillerons pas cette location à des amis.

I thank trip advisor for finding this wonderful apartment indeed. The location was perfect, at it's doorstep was a magnificent park and those who enjoy fishing a river and lake teeming with fish.. From high ropes to inflatables and boats for hire the kids loved iit all. For adults there was a fresh food market and Amiens town center was a stones throw away, the streets were picturesque. Amiens Cathedral had a light show which was spectacular. The streets were safe. Ands the brassiere's, restaurant's and bars were a delight . The city was alive!. We will certainly come again. The apartment was exceptional. Highly highly recommended.

Comfortable apartment (with very good sofa bed), with river views on one side and within walking distance of the cathedral, city centre, restaurants etc. A shame that the museum is closed for refurbishment, but we were able to catch the last day of river boat tours of the Hortillonnages. We were lucky to have fine weather. Our host Henri was kind and helpful and met us at the station.

We liked the central located apartment. Great restaurants just around the corner and an easy 10 min. walk to the cathedral. The stairs were a bit steep but our host was kind enough to carry our suitcases up and down. So no problem. We had free parking nearby and over the weekend there is convenient free parking across the street. Nice big bedroom, although a bit noisy if you like to sleep with the window open.. The living/dining room has two windows facing the river and the park on the other side. Just lovely. The kitchen is well appointed and the washing machine in the bathroom is the easiest to use we have had in Europe. All in all we loved the apartment and would want to stay there again next time we go to Amiens.

The apartment is very well situated if you want to explore the city of Amiens - just a short walk (2 minutes) and you are in the central shopping/eating area. We were met by Henri who was extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly (many thanks Henri!). The apartment was clean and comfortable. I would recommend without hesitation. One tip - If you are driving, make sure you know all of the quirks of the traffic lights... alternate flashing red lights, flashing amber lights etc as well as who has right of way on roundabouts (they are not all the same!!!) - My advice is read up well before you go. Also, remember that you will go via toll roads if you are driving from Calais to the apartment - so be prepared! A great place to stay.

L'appartement est situé dans le centre ville d'Amiens et permet de rejoindre l'ensemble des sites à visiter notamment la cathédrale et les hortillonnages. Le logement est propre, bien entretenu et agréable. Le seul petit bémol est que la chambre est côté rue, donc un peu bruyant si on dort la fenêtre ouverte. Le propriétaire est très accueillant.

Notre séjour fut très agréable: accueil très sympathique, appartement spacieux, confortable, parfaitement équipé, idéalement situé pour qui souhaite découvrir à pied la (belle) ville d'Amiens. Nous reviendrons.

A well appointed apartment with friendly owners. Everything is close to hand, the only improvement we would suggest is air conditioning and a double bed. We were fortunate that the weather was not so good but still had to sleep with the windows open! The two single beds were comfortable but moved across the floor

L appartement est très bien situé proche de tout "bar, pub, restaurants sur le bord de la rivière parc Saint Pierre, Cathédrale notre dame gare SNCF pas loin du centre. l appartement est très bien agencé très propre et très bien équipé. le propriétaire nous à très bien reçu et très sympathique je n hésiterais pas à y retourné pour un prochain déplacement à Amiens Merci Henri pour votre gentillesse.

Bien placé à Amiens avec vue agréable sur le parc de Saint Pierre, cet appartement a tout pour votre séjour. Très propre et soigné dans un quartier prisé. Accueil soft et sympa du propriétaire. Notre future adresse sur Amiens lors de nos déplacements.
