We stayed in the Apartment for 8 days and had a wonderful time there. Christine and Peter are very nice and welcoming. The apartment has a high standard with great attention to detail and very lovingly decorated. We really enjoyed our holiday there and can highly recommend it at Terra dos Calhandros!

My husband & I stayed here for 1 week. The studio apartment is finished to the highest standard. Immaculately clean & homely with the most luxurious rain shower. The hosts Christine & Peter are 2 beautiful souls who could not have been more welcoming & attentive yet respected your privacy. The private pool was amazing not to mention the most stunning landscaped gardens. The perfect location to recharge your batteries. Christine & Peter have definitely created their own little piece of heaven on earth. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will definitely book again without hesitation.

This is the best villa we have ever stay in.Best equipped, best surroundings and pool and the best provisions when we arrived. Highly recommend.

We found this to be an splendid apartment and would highly recommend it. We stayed for a week in October and found it to be quiet, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. With the owners living on the site they were always at hand to advise and give information and were available for that without being in the least intrusive. We felt looked after and tended to. The apartment itself is effectively in Christine and Peter's garden and provides relaxing surroundings with wandering room and a pool. Only a short 10 minute walk to the nearest shop, which is small but very well stocked, and just 15 mins drive or so from a larger supermarket and the lovely town of Tavira. Excellent.

The studio was lovely very homely and very clean. The property had a patio area and swimming pool and looked over their garden. The area was very peaceful. Christine and Peter owners of the property were very helpfull with advise and suggestions of places to eat and places to go, nothing was to much trouble for them. Thank you both

If you want to enjoy a peaceful relaxing environment go no further for a perfect haven. Christine and Peter are wonderful hosts and made our stay truly memorable. The lurary apartment is so well equipped with everything you woluld wish for. The swimming pool is a delight and during our stay was for our sole use. We were spoilt for choice as to where to sit and enjoy the wonderful sunshine and peaceful environment. Christine serviced the apartment each day providing clean towels, in addition providing wonderful surprises in the fridge and wine rack!! We are already looking forward to a return visit for their hospitality and, of course, the fantastic fish restaurants and tapas.

This apartment was by far the best experience to date with Trip Advisor. Christine & Peter are excellent hosts. They thought of everything and made us feel very welcome. The location is beautiful, very quiet and relaxing. The apartment is well-furnished with everything you need and very comfortable with all of the modern conveniences. The attention to detail is more than we typically expect. Christine had provided several food items in the refrigerator, wine and coffee for our stay. Each day the trash was emptied and towels freshened. For most Trip Advisor properties the owners are not directly involved with guests or with the daily operations. Here, the owners live nearby and make it their goal to make guests feel welcome and to have an excellent experience. This is what sets this property aside from others and makes staying here something to remember.

We booked a last minute, short break and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. So much thought has gone into the apartment, and the grounds, including the pool and surrounds. The owners are such lovely people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. It is one of the nicest, cleanest, well thought out places we have ever stayed in. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Terra dos Calandros for two weeks . Peter & Christine were the perfect hosts . Nothing was too much trouble for them . The annex to their wonderful property is beautifully decorated and fitted out to a very high standard. It has all the facilities you could wish for . The surrounding gardens are lovely and the large swimming pool and pool area are perfect for relaxing in the hot sun . Santo Estaveo is a little hamlet within 5 minutes walking distance . It has a well stocked store and a bar/restaurant which serves good , very reasonably priced good meals in an outdoor courtyard ( we booked a day in advance at the bar just to make sure we got a table ) or if you prefer just drinks in the bar . If you want a better choice of food etc then there are supermarkets within 10 minute drive. I think it is essential to hire a car , we did and visited the lovely upmarket resorts of Tavira on several occasions , Santa Luzia , Vila Real de Santo Antonio , as well as Fabrica and Cacela Velha . We had a restful & relaxing holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent holiday property .

Das Apartment an sich ist optimal für 2 Personen. Es ist super ausgestattet, es fehlte uns an nichts. Wir waren dankbar, dass die Gastgeber (Christin und Peter) für unser erstes Frühstück und ein paar Flaschen Wasser gesorgt hatten, denn wir kamen abends spät an. Wir konnten also gemütlich in den Tag starten und bekamen von Christine und Peter super Tips bzgl. Einkaufsmöglich- und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Den Pool hatten wir für uns und waren ungestört. Gelegentlicher und freundlicher Smalltalk mit Christine und Peter hat Spass gemacht. In der Nähe sind einige wunderschöne Strände. Tavira ist eine kleine und süsse Stadt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :-)
