We had the great privilege of staying in Bellevue Terrasse during our recent holiday in Bequia. The villa and our holiday experience not only met our expectations, but exceeded them in every way. . The booking process was simple, and the communications were excellent. Peter was very easy to deal with and he explained everything to us in detail and sent us plenty of information to make the start of our holiday easy. He contacted us after arriving in Bequia as well, to make sure we had settled in and offered help and advice throughout the stay, should we need it. Sabine, the property manager on the Island, was there to greet us on arrival and made herself available throughout the stay for help and information. . The location, presentation and views on arrival at the villa were nothing short of breathtaking. The huge terrace and wonderful views down onto Spring Bay are beyond compare. . We stayed in the upstairs part of the villa. The villa was ready for us upon arrival. It was clean and tidy and had all the amenities we required to make our stay comfortable. The living room and kitchen area were generously proportioned. The bedroom is roomy, with plenty of cupboards and storage and the big double bed has a really comfortable mattress. The en suite is well designed and there is a large shower with good running hot water. There was always a cooling breeze and there are fans and air conditioning, if needed. . The villa is in quiet and secluded location above Spring Bay. There are a couple of nearby villas, which although we did not hear any noise from, kept us from feeling isolated. The swimming pool is really good and we used it most days. There are sun loungers around the pool and also on the terrace. . Bellevue Terrasse is a 10 minute drive from Port Elizabeth and within easy reach of all the beaches and restaurants on the island. So perfectly located. . This was our 4th visit to Bequia. The previous times we had stayed in hotels. A villa stay was so much better; it gave us a new perspective of the island and enabled us to meet new friends, locals and others staying in villas. . Peter and Sabine were flexible with our checkin and checkout times to coincide with our ferry to and from the island. Communications at the end of the vacation were also excellent. They got in touch to ensure that our stay at Bellevue Terrasse was to our expectations and seeking feedback. Needless to say that we had a perfect holiday in this beautiful villa. As is our custom, we went back to relax in this charming property. The leafy and well-kept garden welcomed us with the ripe papayas for breakfast! We had dreamed sunsets, full moon barbecue and long naps. Spring is still the perfect place to get away from the hustle and let the breeze always be with you We will be back soon!!!!

We spent two weeks, at Bellevue Terrase, & despite being incredibly ill with a horrid cold, for the first 6 days, we were thrilled to be here. If you want peace and quite, this Villa is for you. We rented the upper portion, and the facilities didn't disappoint. The description of the listing is very accurate. The amenities the Villa has are excellent, and I couldn't find one thing it was missing, except my kitties from home!!!!. A fully stocked kitchen with a high end gas stove is hard to beat. The views are stunning, the breeze is amazing, and the natural environment is supreme. We relaxed, slept, and enjoyed our time in Bequia. This would have been our 14th time in Bequia, and this Villa exceeded our expectations.

We were welcomed by Sabine, the villa manager & her husband. They showed us where things were located within the home. The setting is in a very quiet & private section of the island with stellar Views of the ocean & sunsets. The main floor has a huge kitchen, bedroom & bath along with a living area. The lower level is where the pool is located along with 2 bedrooms each with their own bath and a kitchen. You can rent either level or both but never is it rented to any other party at the same time. We enjoy cooking in for some of our meals and I always carry a polar bear cooler from home with our own meats. This home has a great kitchen & Weber grill that we used often. After exploring the island we thoroughly enjoyed being able to spend afternoons in the pool which was always warm. Sabine is a wonderful manager and made sure we were well taken care of. We spent 2 wonderful weeks on Bequia and they supplied maid service after we had been there a week keeping everything fantastically clean. We enjoyed several restaurants around the island but two that were very close to the house were a couple of our favorites….The Sugar Reef, for lunch the lobster salad and romantic evenings by candle light, the lobster , barracuda were great. For a close by breakfast we enjoyed the Plantation House. Peter has a great list of restaurants and we enjoyed most of his list. Bequia is a great island to explore and we would love to return.

Bellevue Terrasse lived up to every aspect of its description. This rather new addition to the Bequia list of available properties is right in style - majestically situated among sparsely populated but lovely homes in perhaps the quietest place on the island. We opened the doors to the trade winds all day, and ran the air conditioner in the bedroom at night and enjoyed the best of both worlds. Though the phone system on the island is a bit quirky, our cell phones worked better than at home with connectivity everywhere. I even negotiated some of the far north terrain via Google Earth while we hiked. The owner boosted the internet speed during our visit to 3 mbps, totally acceptable even for trading US markets, but now has boosted it even more to 12 mbps. Trading stocks from Bequia – can life get any better? Both the owner and the local manager of the home were terrific from start to finish. Peter Kasper and is wife think their Bequia Paradise is for them to work on, and though they are missing some of the bliss they have created, they are sure making Bellevue Terrasse a spectacular place to visit. And the management team of Sabine and Nigel, part transplant from Europe and part local, are a phone call away and ready to answer every need and fix anything you happen to break – but don’t break much because we have already reserved our time to return in 2017! The entire team are all truly dedicated to making sure their visitors have a wonderful time. Oh yes, did I mention the beaches are beautiful and the water indescribably warm and welcoming? And the people of Bequia are the nicest folks we have ever come across. Fishing, boating, eating lobster – it all goes well with Bellevue Terrasse’s pool, cool breezes, and peaceful nights. Now being Americans, we just had to make some suggestions for appointments and the like, all minor, personal preferences. Not to our surprise, the owner has already seen to all of them, and a few more. We are truly staggered by the service and consideration. Can’t wait for the snow to fly again! All of this deserved praise has not been added until now, not until we had our 2017 reservation confirmed!. You cannot go wrong with Bellevue Terrasse.

Perfect place to stay. Quiet. Your "own" house, with lots of privacy. You can easily stay whole days in this place, just watching the bay and enjoying the cool breeze, the pool and the BBQ. Housekeeping service is exellent. Sabine Leslie helps with car rental, trips an all kind of insider information to make your Bequia trip awesome.

I had been to the Caribbean before, but just to Barbados, so wasn't sure what to expect, but Bequia and the rental property exceeded expectations. The trip was made easy and stress free due to the attention to detail of the owners and the great service at the property. Every detail was covered. The property itself is fantastic with large rooms, which are well appointed with nice fittings etc, but the showstopper really is the view from the large upper balcony which stretches the full length of the large property. We spent many relaxing and enjoyable mornings and evenings eating on the veranda. And it's just the same down by the pool on the lower level where two of the bedrooms literally open out onto a spacious terrace leading to the pool. There is also plenty of entertainment space at the lower level with an entire separate eating/BBQ area which was used a lot! I can't say enough about how well this property is set up to create a really relaxing environment. Bequia itself is quite small, but has some great beaches, especially the one that has Jack's bar where we spent many lovely afternoons, and also good restaurants. I recommend the lobster one whose name I forget..! Hoping to go back again soon.

We were able to select this villa by viewing several good villas when we were on Bequia the year before - and this was definitely the best. We liked its fresh decor - white walls and dark wood - and the outside space is attractive with plenty of room for sunbeds and different eating and barbeque areas. The dipping pool is great, the garden is very pretty and when we were there in February we were able to pick fresh papayas every day - a real treat! It's a fairly new villa, and that's one thing that's worth checking on Bequia because we discovered that quite a lot of the accommodation which looks great in the pictures is decidedly faded and shabby. The beds at Bellevue Terrasse are very comfortable and it was nice that they were all kingsize rather than doubles. They all come with mosquito nets, which we used, although there are very few mozzies up in the hills of Spring. When we arrived we were welcomed by Sabine, who looks after the house, and she proved to be an excellent housekeeper and fount of local knowledge. She was always quick to sort out any queries or minor problems and we thought she was a real asset to the house. The only slight drawback about the house that's worth pointing out is that the quid-pro-quo for being in such a high location with wonderful views is that there is quite a hairy drive to get to the house. It takes about 12 minutes to drive to or from Port Elizabeth. You can rely on the fantastic taxi system on the island and let someone else negotiate the hairpin bends, but if you choose to hire a car you need to take this into account. It's not for faint-hearted drivers. Overall we thought this was an excellent place to stay in a gorgeous location and very good value.

We arrived to a very warm welcome from the house manager. She ensured that we were comfortable and had all that we needed in the house. Throughout our stay (18 days) she kept in touch and gave us good recommendations about the island...beaches, restaurants etc. We rented the ground floor only. This included a small living room with well fitted kitchen, and 2 bedrooms with very comfortable queen size beds, mosquito nets and air conditioning. The pool was only a few paces away! Views from the villa are fantastic and the garden is beautiful with colourful flowers and many birds visiting (including sea hawk, hummingbird, mangrove cuckoo, broad-winged hawk, rufous-vented chachalaca, locally called cocrico and many others) . Throughout our stay there was a warm breeze which was welcome after the heat of the town or beach! A 4 wheel drive jeep hire is necessary as Bellevue Terrasse is situated up a steep road, high on the hill overlooking the quiet Spring Bay. An ideal location for a peaceful, relaxing break.

Our experience at Bellevue Terrasse was truly amazing! The view is priceless! The property is secluded and so peaceful. It is very spacious and also a great vacation house to come with family, including children. We have a three year old son and he had a great time as there was plenty of space to run around and play. The house is spacious and kept clean. One of my favorite parts of the property is the pool. The pool is the perfect size to swim and to relax. Kitchen is large, lots of dining space, and also the perfect house to invite people over and have a dance party! The owners of the house were very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. They gave us clear instructions with respect to all aspects of the house, and also gave us suggestions where to go eat and what beaches to visit. It was also nice to have a washing machine and dryer. In other words, staying at Bellevue Terrace is not only comfortable, but you constantly keep asking yourself if this is reality. The experience is that great! I highly recommend staying at Bellevue Terrace.
