Pros: Beds were very comfortable; view from deck was stunning. Cons: Place has water damage in basement causing damp conditions and a very strong mold smell downstairs; yard was unkempt; some dishes were dirty and damaged; overall, place lacked TLC

Beautiful location and views

This lovely home is such a great find! It's comfortable, cozy, tastefully decorated, and extremely well-equipped, and the kitchen is especially gorgeous with its beautiful cabinetry, skylight, and glassed-in corner dining nook. / The stars of the show, however, are the jaw-dropping view and the incredible expansive deck from which to enjoy it. The deck, with its beautiful flowers and multiple areas for relaxation, is fantastic at any time of day, but with the string lights at night, it's just magical. The owners are so gracious and have done a wonderful job of accurately describing the amenities of the property and providing information about the local area. All in all, our stay was a truly memorable experience for our family and we hope to return someday.

Needed a place to stay for three generations of family for a wedding. The layout and fantastic deck area made this a perfect place for us.

From the moment we walked in the door we found the home quaint and warm. The awesome views of the bay and mountains captivating. The upstairs was full of good natural light and again wonderful views. Kitchen had modern appliances and well equipped. More linens, blankets and towels than you could use which was wonderful. The hosts (Tania and Keith) we welcoming and responsive to any questions or requests. The location in Lower Gibson is only a few minutes walk with many great restaurants and coffee shops. All in all a memorable stay for our family and a gathering place on the deck for morning coffee or evening BBQ. Thanks Mike & Kris and Famille

We loved our stay at this warm and welcoming home. The view melted away all our city stress. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking (husband especially loved the coffee grinder and maker) and the beds were comfy; there was even a perfect kids room with bunk bed, crib and bedtime books. There was a general spirit of generosity from the owners… things like towels, blankets and pillows were plentiful. Lower Gibsons was a short walk downhill, though we were happy just puttering around the place/deck. Perfect spot for a larger family stay! Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us city folks.
