This resort we will book again! You can get the ocean breeze everyday! There is a full time staff there you have a houseman, housekeeper and a cook. The only person that leaves daily is the housekeeper. She will wash your clothes just put them in the basket ( fees may apply). We went to the market with the cook which was a nice experience. We also went Into Falmouth and did 3 excursions. We wanted to stay 7 days but they only had 5 days available for our dates so we spent the last 2 days at the Adheya, which I wouldn’t recommend it is a downgrade of service ( literally an additional daily charge for A/C). If you can rent anywhere on the ocean try that first, it’s nothing like it. Back to MaiTai... it’s 4 bedrooms can host up to 11-12 people each room has its own onsuite. 2 bedrooms upstarts 2 downstairs. There is an outside shower in the master bedroom upstairs all rooms are very spacious with plenty closet and dressers, you can get comfortable during your stay. The staff are outstanding, they all are really helpful, if you are thinking about touring a place ask them there honest thoughts first. You can hire The houseman to take you places as it’s not included in your trip.

Our group of 4 couples (now 50-60’s in age) just returned from a week-long stay at Mai Tai just 3 days ago. Collectively, we have visited 10+ Caribbean locations preferring a villa over a hotel, but this was our first experience with a “staffed” villa. Mai Tai is located on the north coast between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios in a gated community that feels a bit tired looking and a little worn. Regardless, the neighborhood and beach areas all felt safe to wander around and explore. There is a simple on-site bar/restaurant that was a bit lame (tropical drinks from mixes and not the best burgers, fries, etc.) and could use improving. The onsite “commissary” (small convenience store) had a good variety of options to consider and the staff were very accommodating too as they allowed my group to setup a week-long charge account. Mai Tai overs 4 comfortable bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms that are positioned in such a way to feel both private and quiet. A few places show a little wear and tear including bedspreads, but overall the villa is in good shape and very clean. The villa offers an excellent den area and even better outdoor living space only a few feet away from the private swimming pool and the beach. (Note: There is no indoor dining area, only outside.) Our week was quite hot, but we were fortunate to have strong breezes each day; otherwise, we would have roasted. The wind was necessary to be outside, but the swimming beach had such strong winds, it was a little unpleasant and the water was always rough in the afternoons. The best part about Mai Tai? I can sum this up in 3 words: Andrew, Judith, Rosie. Andrew, Judith, and Rosie, the staff at Mai Tai, made our trip experience great. These 3 warm individuals put their heart into making us feel comfortable every minute of the day. Andrew was there to make sure we always had anything we needed – advice, ice for the cooler, a cold rum punch, etc. “No problem” or “Yeah mon” was his reply to everything, and it was so sincere. Judith is a genius in the kitchen and capable of preparing any kind of food we desired from simple to complex options (desserts included!). Her skills included teaching our group how to appreciate the fine art of cooking and provided us with some tips to take home to try on our own. Her warm smile and friendly conversation made us feel special every time we peeked into the kitchen to see what special cuisine was next. Rosie helped keep our villa clean and straight during the day/night. Our rooms and the entire house were always tidy and clean. While softly singing, she refreshed our rooms daily along with water pitchers in the late afternoon, as well as taking care of our personal laundry on a daily basis. No worries; no problem! If you are looking for a quiet, safe, and relaxing vacation along the northern coast of Jamaica, I would strongly urge you to consider Mai Tai. Don’t expect a lot to do on-site, but you will be generously taken care of at all times by Andrew, Judith, and Rosie. I was constantly told, ‘this was MY vacation,” and they meant it!

I am not sure a vacation could get much better. Despite the weather being a little overcast and too much wind to fly my kite, we could not of had a better time. The house was great and everything we need. The room where all clean and in very good condition with comfortable beds, the pool was great and perfect if traveling with kids or you just enjoy a dip after coming out of the ocean. What really made this vacation the best was the staff at Villa Mai Tai. Judith the cook, keeps up happy with wonderful meals and an amazing personality, Ms. Rosie, the housekeeper always made sure we had clean towel and took care of any cloths we need cleaned and keep the house looking great. Andrew the butler was a true treat, he took care of any and everything we needed and made an amazing rum punch and pina colada. If you stay at Villa Mai Tai you will not be disappointed. My group of 10 all agree it was are best vacation yet.

Our family spent the most wonderful Christmas ever at the Mai Tai in Silver Sands. The staff-Andrew, Judith and Rosie-were perfection....the food, the service, the local help and playing Uno! It was the most perfect vacation for adults and kids alike. We have already booked to go back again. The house was so comfortable and spread out. It was heavenly having our own pool. And listening to the ocean all day every day was the best, especially at meal time on the patio. Mai Tai will always be what we compare other vacation rentals to!

Our family of 6 spent a week at Mai Tai Villas in Silver Sands to celebrate one of my sister's significant milestone. The villa certainly met our expectations and was a splendid mix of tasteful modern amenities and subtle charm. Being on the beach made it that more special and it was just so refreshing to be able to laze on the beach lawn or at the salt water pool. We were spoiled by the nicest friendliest staff ever who catered to all our needs and served the most delightful and delicious meals. In summary, we we had a ball and I cant wait to go "home" to Mai Tai
