This was our first time visiting St. Thomas, and I must say, it exceeded all of our expectations. Gail and Curlson, were the BEST hosts we could ever have imagined, and provided invaluable recommendations that suited our needs. They were very accessible when and if needed, which was great for us, due to it being our first visit. The property is absolutely gorgeous and we felt right at home. The home is well stocked with everything that you need, from all of your kitchen necessities (dishes, pots, pans, spices, etc...), board games, hair detangler, to bug spray, aloe, first aid kit, and everything in between. There is a "honor system" bar, which is essentially alcohol at your disposal, with the courtesy of replacement before departure. The location is well appointed, and literally around the corner from Red Hook, which has restaurant and shops to boot. I believe that we have stumbled upon the best kept secret in St. Thomas, and we look forward to staying at this home, every single time that we visit going forward. Until we meet again...

Stayed here nearly a year ago and still have the fondest of memories. I can confirm that this place is not only as described but better than advertised. Everything from the private balcony, hot tub, swimming pool, washer/dryer, safe, a/c, and 2 tv's to the extra cottage house below and complete kitchen for preparing your own meals not to mention the complete privacy you have (even though the owners are always available to assist @ a moments notice should you need them) makes this the ultimate vacation oasis you've been looking for but never thought you could afford. We didn't rent a car due to our short length of stay but the owners (who also manage a transportation company) not only picked us up @ the airport but we also arranged to have them shuttle us to various locations while we were there. Plenty of linen, beach accessories, kitchenware and fully stocked cabinet of choice alcohol (should you wish to indulge bearing in mind it is provided as a courtesy on an honor system basis ie: replace what you use) means you can focus on unwinding and enjoying your vacay and less on what you may have forgotten since it's likely already here. The hosts are not only thoughtful and considerate but also accommodating beyond words. I did a great deal of perusing b4 finding this villa. After taking into consideration the cost vs the amenities offered, it just seemed like staying here was a no-brainer. So then... should YOU stay here? The real question is, why aren't you here already?

This vacation rental was the BEST we've ever rented. The hosts, Gail and Curlson, were magnificent. They were available for any question or issue that came up and they were very gracious hosts. The property is AMAZING! The pictures are accurate but really do not do the place justice. We enjoyed having a clean and comfortable home to return to after visiting the beaches and shops on the island of St. Thomas everyday. What is provided: King size bed in master (along with dresser, mirror, nightstands, entertainment armoire, and A/C unit) Full Master Bath Queen size pull out sofa (coffee table, end tables, storage cabinet, TV unit and brand new A/C unit) Rollaway bed in large master closet (that can double as another sleeping area) Pack and Play pen for small babies/toddlers Queen size bed in downstairs cottage (kitchenette, full bath and closet, A/C unit, balcony with eating area, storage baskets/dresser) All the linens you could ever need including huge beach towels Trash bags, paper towel, toilet paper, dish soap, a variety of sunscreens, insect repellant, body wash etc. ALL cookware, eating utensils, barbecue utensils, appliances etc. in kitchen (only thing I found missing was a slow cooker/Crockpot) board games, playing cards, paperback books 3 flat screen tvs Dvd player stereo system in main house and cottage various maps and magazines for information about the area indoor dining table 4 outdoor dining areas (including the cottage balcony downstairs) gas grill pool, hot tub, outdoor shower washer and dryer pool toys 4 beach chairs and we left some sand castle toys and pool noodles HUGE HONOR SYSTEM LIQUOR CABINET (if you drink more than half of any bottle, replace with any kind of liquor you like) we bought 4 more bottles! Complete privacy and EXCELLENT views! I cannot think of anything else that I needed on this vacation. We were a family of 6 (mom, dad, 21 yr. old, 17 yr. old, 10 yr. old daughters, and 18 month old grandson) Everything was perfect. I cannot wait to plan our next trip here. This was the best place to stay on the East End and it was extremely budget friendly! Thank you so much, Curlson and Gail for opening your home to us!

Our stay here was quite wonderful, so much so, that I do not even know where to begin. Gail met us in Red Hook and we followed her to the villa. We were glad we rented a jeep since the hills were so steep. We had our own driveway. When you walk through the gate, the first thing you see is the FABULOUS View! The bottom floor was the small guest apartment with it's own bathroom, kitchenette and bed. This was perfect as two couples travelling together can have their privacy, yet enjoy each others company in the common areas. The next level up encompassed the outside living area (outdoor shower, washer and dryer in closet, pool, hot tub and nice covered area where we spent the majority of our time while we were at the house. We ate all our meals out here. How could you not with that view? Inside on the main level was an updated and very nice living room, FULL kitchen and dining table. In an area that could be closed off for privacy, there was a very large walk in closet, master bath and master bedroom. Gail and Curlson resided on the 3rd floor. While they are available at the drop of a hat to answer questions, give suggestions, and basically help with anything you may need, they also make sure that you have your privacy. Such great people! The house is well stocked. Linens, including large beach towels (8 while we were there), chairs in a bag, sun screen, liquor, tour books/magazines, etc. Are all provided. **Keep in mind that while these items are all available for your use, it is also an honor system. If you use any, it is courteous and reasonable to replace what you use.** I found it great to have these items on hand. We purchased our own preference of liquor, but used some of theirs also and then left ours, as well. We ran out of sunscreen, so it was nice to have some extras. The location is quite accessible to Red Hook and the view looks East over St John. We cannot say enough about OK Villa, as well as Gail and Curlson. The villa is perfect and very clean and well kept. We will be staying there whenever we go back to St Thomas. Next time, we'll have to invite Gail and Curlson down for cocktails, as they are new friends and really wonderful and welcoming folks! This is the best vacation home in which I've ever stayed!

We stayed at the OK Villa for five days and the only issue was that our stay wasn’t long enough! When we arrived on the island in the middle of a rainstorm, Gail and Curlson met us in Red Hook and led us to the villa. Once we made it up the hill and into the house, they took their time to give us a tour and explain many of the things in the house, as well as to tell us about some of the restaurants that we should try. The layout of the villa allows someone to watch television in the living room without disturbing someone resting in the bedroom. Speaking of, the bed is amazingly comfortable! You’ll have to pry yourself out just to get out and enjoy the island. The location was super convenient to the ferry terminal and to Red Hook in general. There are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store less than 5 minutes from the villa. Trips into Charlotte Amalie took about 20-25 minutes, and yes, you quickly get used to driving on the left side of the road. The drive up the hills to the villa takes some getting used to, but the view is definitely worth it. Back to the villa, the closet is huge and well-stocked with plenty of towels. The kitchen is very modern and we enjoyed cooking in it. However, plastic food storage containers would have been a good addition, There are also several tables on the covered patio, so it was great to be able to cook our own breakfasts and dine al fresco. The private pool and spa were relaxing and added to an already awesome experience. If you don’t feel like going outside or happen to visit during the rainy season, a full cable channel lineup, DVD player, and excellent wi-fi are also present. Each morning, we were able to text Gail and ask questions without us feeling as though we were bothering her. Although she and Curlson were directly upstairs from us, we really did not see or hear them, and they respected our privacy. The villa is well-maintained and we cannot say enough about the view! A trip to St. Thomas in the future would definitely mean that we stay with Gail and Curlson again!

Rent a sturdy car to visit entire island and drive up hills to the house. Very Nice main house with a 1 bedroom cottage and 2 baths, granite kitchen fully equipped and appliances like new. Patio with tables, grill, hot tube, umbrella and pool chairs all overlook East End/red Hook and offers views of St John ad Toprtolla. View was beyond amazing with sapphire blue ocean, sailboats , sunshine and native trees and flowers. Everything we needed or wanted was there including pizza delivery for the teens. Very private place for enjoying early sunrise coffee on patio. Owners very friendly without being imposing. Super interesting couple.we will return and highly recommend.

Of the several places I've staying on St. Thomas (and St. Croix) the past year, this is the best. I loved all the thoughtful touches: comfy, LONG chaises; lovely pool; beautiful balcony; fantastic, well-appointed kitchen and bath; extra towels, linens, and bathrobes! Everything was spotless. The pool was kept clean. The winds keep the mosquitoes away. Completely quiet but restaurants, supermarket, etc. all easy to get to. Very caring owners and the whole experience was professional but very kind. Loved it!

Our family including four young adult sons stayed at the Ocean Kaleidoscope for three days prior to our week at a St. Thomas resort. This is a great property for relaxing and enjoying the Caribbean breezes and beautiful views in addition to visiting the many island amenities. This lovely property offers a family a great way to enjoy a nice vacation away from the bustle of a busy resort; cooking indoor and out, a hot tub for relaxing, a dipping pool to chill in after a hot day on the beach and close proximity to Sapphire Beach. We ate outside nightly, enjoying the gentle breeze and large table. From the grilling to baking cookies in the oven to some great liquid beverages it was a wonderful stay. Just the right amount of décor and items to make your stay enjoyable including books and games. We highly recommend this villa for a family or couple vacation. You will need a rental car, while the beach is not far, it is a treacherous and tough walk down and you won't want to walk back up!

The location of your property is perfect, a short drive to Red Hook and close to some gorgeous beaches. The villa included many "little" amenities such as beach towels, paper goods, hairdryers, that really made my packing job much easier! The kids had the best time swimming in the pool & hot tub and ask daily when we can go back! I think even breakfast tasted better because we were able to eat it every morning on the patio overlooking St. John and Sapphire Beach. Whenever we had a concern or question, you were a quick phone call or email away. And the place looked exactly as it does in your pictures.
