I stayed here with a group of friends in July...while this place is NOT luxurious it offers a different vibe...a more country bed and breakfast feel that has seen better days....it is perched on the side of a hill....steep steps to get down to the rooms....the furniture was worn and dated AC only in the bedrooms... the bathroom I had was antiquated and a little dirty....the common areas needed TLC...but the staff made all the difference. They rook great care of us and made our stay special. The boat ride to monkey island and beach was a treat. The atmosphere was quiet and the scenery lush and beautiful. I had a good time

My 3 girlfriends and I had the optimal experience there, thanks to Greg and Marley, who knew how to help us actualize every enjoyable adventure imaginable! From serving delicious, fresh, gourmet food, to a new excursion everyday, we had more fun than I can admit here! We started acting like we were about 12 years old by the first night! Ya Mon!

My husband and I decided to visit Port Antonio for a few days. During our search for places to stay, we came upon Moon San Villa. It is at least 2 ½ hours from Kingston. If you are looking for a hotel type environment, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for cozy, clean and relaxing, then you have found it. We were greeted by Marcus and Donna, who took exceptional care of us. We had access to a boat and captain (Marcus), who once discovered we were not good swimmers, knew exactly where to take us. To get to the boat, the walk is less than 2 minutes from the villa. Once on board, the ride is leisurely going past several other villas and there is no speeding. We were taken to the very private San San Beach with beautiful clear waters. After frolicking there for some time, we were off to Monkey Island for some snorkeling, rode along the Blue Lagoon and then to the mineral spring. All of which are in close proximity to Moon San Villa. As part of our stay, we were treated to a Blue Mountain Coffee and Bike tour. You would need a vehicle as the shuttle pick-up is in Buff Bay (45mins away). Donna also recommended the Rio Grande river raft and even contacted a raft captain. Every morning we were treated to fresh fruit and local cuisine made by Donna. The view from the villa is breathtaking. It was serene, relaxing and romantic. We had a room with a balcony so it was awesome to just look out. We were very sad to leave because the stay seemed too short. We were very pleased and considered it to be a real vacation. Moon San Villa was a home away from home.

Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay! We loved it, the view right out to the Blue Lagoon was great, and we loved swiming in it at sunset after the rest of the tourists all went away. The Bicycle Tour that the owner also runs is fantastic as well- totally worth going! This was definitely the best stay we had, and we went all the way around the island at 6 different places! Wish it would have been longer! Thanks!
