Property was great and the check in super easy. Beach was perfect and we had everything we needed

Crowsnest is a rare gem, the top floor views and ocean breeze are magnificent. This home is extremely well appointed with ample comfortable seating for lounging and dining for all eleven of us. We are cooks and the kitchen had every gadget, bowl, pan and spice necessary to create a masterpiece and it was equipped with multiple sturdy cutting boards and sharp knives so everyone could assist with the prep work. Brighton beach is magnificent and we loved watching the cruise ships in the distance and staring at the turquoise water through the bright green palm trees frame. The codes were so entertaining, and while relaxing we named day one "passwords" as we all worked hard to memorize the different codes on each level and then laughed hysterically at "what's the code?" as many of us easily forgot after a few to many sips of rum punch. We spent the week cherishing the top floor views and accomodations and thinking of ways to return. You will not be disappointed with the Crowsnest, or Barbados...both are spectacular.

I won’t lie, when we first pulled up...I was a bit worried. The street side could use a little love and attention. But let me assure you that it’s all forgotten as you make your wake to the top floor. Breathtaking. We spent a week here and we had so many plans on our to-do list for the week...many of which were left undone as we opted to soak in the relaxation and beauty of life on the top floor instead! We enjoyed every minute of our trip. The beds were comfy, the honor bar was fantastic, the housekeepers were a joy to have around and kept our space tidy and our laundry clean. We enjoyed a night in with Chef Judy, who was excellent and was very sweet to teach me how to make macaroni pie! We had a great night in Oistins at the Fishfry. I was under the impression that it was more of a “local” thing, but really turned out to be a most enjoyable and entertaining tourist trap 😆? (one that we can’t wait to go back to). The grocery store Carlton’s was convenient and a fun walk. Overall, it was as near perfection as one could hope for in a vacation home. We previously have stayed at resorts while in Barbados and always felt a little disappointed. This was hands down better!! Perhaps the only drawback was that we didn’t have taxis right outside waiting the way you do at a resort so it took a little pre-planning to get out and about as there isn’t much within walking distance and being from the states, none of us were confident enough to rent a car and drive on “the wrong side of the road”. If I had to offer one tip for bettering my experience it would be that after 2 solid days of traveling to get there, it was a little overwhelming to walk in completely exhausted and immediately be taken from floor to floor to memorize four different lock combinations. I would have preferred to be handed something with them on it. It felt like a lot of responsibility tossed my way when I was struggling just to be standing up. Tip: we recorded it on our phone and texted the videos to each party member’s phone. We are already plotting our next stay at Crowsnest II!!!

My friends and I spent a fantastic week at the crowsnest! The property was perfect for us as a group of 7. Andy was incredibly helpful on the run up to our arrival and the property manager and staff during our stay were very friendly and helpful! The top deck is an amazing space and was a lifesaver as being the end of the season there wasn’t too much nightlife to enjoy but the space available at the crowsnest meant we were happy enjoying our own company! Thanks so much for having us enjoy this amazing property, we hope to be back!

Property is wonderfully located on the beach with great sea views. It has excellent sleeping accommodation as well as having a very spacious feel even with 10 adults sharing it. The bar facility works well particularly of an evening whilst Barbacuing. The housekeeper is a lovely lady who takes care of you fantastically. All in all one of the best holidays we have ever had and we will certainly be going back as soon as it is possible.

A group of 5 couples enjoyed an amazing week! We spent most of our time on the open concept top floor which had incredible living space and a beautiful view of the Caribbean sea. We enjoyed swimming in the warm calm water and loved having the beach at our doorstep. There was no seaweed and few rocks at the beach. The honesty bar and "pay it forward" concept is wonderfully executed and most appreciated. Judy and Nadia cooked us breakfast and dinner everyday and shopped for all our groceries. Walked to Mount Gay for rum tasting tour, always felt safe. Highly recommend and hope to return one day.

Accomadation was fantastic, helped by the attention of Maureen.From arrival to leaving every minute was top of the range, didn't hire a car but used local buses to get everywhere, worth the holiday alone for this experience, best chance to meet and understand local people besides the local rum shacks, especially BarBossa just down the road, Vernon the taxi driver for the one day of island touring was a font of knowledge, animal sanctuary, north point East coast tour and Sand Dunes for lunch,Oistins fish fry Friday not too be missed, swimming with turtles on El Tigre a great day, five yard from house back gate to swimming in the sea with fish, lovely quiet beach, Mount Gay tour well worth it, if you don't like Rum you will after this, plenty of local stalls for food and a supermarket if needed. highly recommended shame we had to leave.

Great property - fabulous living space on top floor with rooftop pool. Don't be fooled by the slightly austere exterior - the interior is what you live in and it is extremely well laid out for a large group holiday - and the views and access to beach are as good as it gets. This is slightly south of the "Gold Coast" strip - but is far more individual - far greater living space for the same money - wholeheartedly recommend. The "honesty system" for bar and supplies is very refreshing - you just try to leave more than you take and it saves on time having to stock up every single item. If you don't fancy cooking - but want good value - Chef Judy was top-rate - would recommend. I would recommend this property to anyone who is look for a spacious, well managed, relaxing, private but not out of the way location to enjoy their family holiday. What amazed me the most was the view and the Breeze that flowed through the entire upper deck... Amazing!! The cook that was recommended was excellent, and the staff checked in and catered to all of our needs. Already planning for 2018!!
