We came here for the 2nd week of our trip, looking forward to relaxing at the beach. My husband needed to work this week and was able to do so easily and in such a wonderful environment. Our family of 5 (2 parents, 3 boys ages 7-12) had plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed meeting the other families staying in the other units. JoEllen gave great info leading up to our stay and the staff (Francisco and Marlin) who took care of the place were so kind and helpful. Lis gave us great suggestions, helped us book different activities and we had a wonderful local dinner prepared for us the night we arrived by Glenda. She then stayed to babysit for the evening so we could go explore Playa Potrero and have a night to ourselves! Speaking of Playa Potrero - I think this was my fav location of our entire trip. Quick walk to the beach which was never crowded. My boys loved the waves, finding crabs and exploring. We were able to walk to so many different delicious restaurants, as well as two markets, the farmacia and more. #locationlocationlocation. This house was also wonderfully supplied with beach chairs, snorkeling gear, a cooler, everything you need for a great day at the beach! Similar to everywhere we went in CR, everyone was beyond kind and helpful. I speak passable Spanish, so I enjoyed practicing with everyone (who didn't rush or interrupt me), but so many speak great English, so if you don't speak Spanish you will be fine. Our fav beach other than Potrero was a 5 min drive, Playa Flamingo - tidal pools, shade for me, great waves. We were here for 5 nights and could easily have stayed for weeks or months, it was that comfortable. In fact we are now eyeing purchasing some property in CR of our own! If that doesn't happen, we will certainly return to StefSurf! LOved this place.

The moment we walked into house Delfin we felt relaxed and at home. The fang shui of this place is amazing. We slept like baby sloths. The house had everything we needed and Francisco the caretaker was there for us 24/7. Master bedroom will blow your mind! They provided extra beach towels, boogie boards and snorkeling gear as well as chairs for the local beaches which were many. The next place we build will look just like Delfin at Stef Surf. Everyone was very friendly and the nearby restaurants were amazing. Try the new beer brewery and say hi to TJ and Kathy for us while you are there. Next time we are in Costa Rica we will be stopping at Potrero for sure!

I would go again in a second. The Del Fin condo was the perfect size for our family of 4. Make sure you're okay with a spiral staircase and having all the bathrooms upstairs. Other than that, everything that you'll need is there. And if there's something you don't find in the condo, just ask caretakers Marling and Francisco - they were great. Make sure to check out several of the beaches - Playa Prieta has beautiful calm waters and parking under the trees. If you're looking for more waves, we would recommend Playa Grande. The water at all the beaches is warm and clear. Get a surfing lesson - our daughter loved this. And do the Congo Trail Canopy Zip line. The guys there are great - very fun! Puravida!

Our stay was the perfect end to a 2-week Costa Rica vacation. House was immaculate with everything in perfect working order. Loved having the washer dryer. Tons of outdoor space. Felt very private from neighbors due to beautiful, lush trees and other plants. Pool was cool and beautiful. 100 meter walk to beach that rarely had more than 50 people! Wildlife all around, super close to markets and vegetables. House staff were so kind and attentive. Would absolutely come back.

We really enjoyed our (too short) stay at Delfin. It is a beautiful condo with a lovely pool. Very close to the beach, market, and local restaurants. We’ll be back!

Had a fantastic 10 day stay. Excellent accommodation, nice and close to beaches and restaurants all within walking distance. Clean and private - and very secure - condo.

The owners of this Stef Surf property are helpful with information prior to arrival. It would have been even more helpful to have a print out of the 28 pages of information in a welcome folder on arrival. It could be in a loose leaf folder secured to a desk or cabinet to make sure that visitors don't take it with them. Also, some information in Spanish for Spanish speaking visitors such as one in our group of three. The apartment was clean, the kitchen very well stocked, the beds comfortable, the terraces outside of each bedroom really lovely - especially outside of the main bedroom. There was plenty of warm water. The extra bed in the living room meant that the rest of us had to go upstairs early to let the person in that bed get to sleep early; it is not out of the way. The stairs are circular with spaces which are a bit hard to negotiate for anyone with balance issues. The apartment is about 3km from Playa Flamingo, the more quiet, most beautiful beach in our opinion. We loved The Shack for breakfast. The pool is lovely. The caretakers live in an apartment on the property, which is convenient if a need should arise. The apartment was value for money.

Very nice house, well maintained.. we came with our kids and it had everything we needed.. the house is far from the "center" of the small town so you most likely will need a car to get around.. owner and house keeper was very helpful.

The rental was an Oasis in the middle of high season of Costa Rica. Property is well kept and the caretakers were very friendly. It was a great experience.
