I proprietari di casa sono molto gentili e disponibili. Le camere sono molto pulite, il bagno è pulito e spazioso. La colazione è eccezionale. Colazione davvero molto buona ed abbondante. Luogo tranquillo ed adatto sia per passeggiare che per visitare la zona. Assolutamente consigliato.

Superbe B&B dans la région d'Aberdeen ! Nous avions réservé le studio indépendant pour la famille, quelle belle surprise de trouver un appartement très spacieux et très bien équipé (la salle de bain est aux standrad d'Europe continentale !). Angela et son mari sont des hôtes formidables qui ont sû nous conseiller une très bonne adresse pour le repas du soir à Stoneheaven avec les enfants. Un petit sentier de balade vous menera de la maison au bord de mer, 20 minutes de promenade dans un cadre magnifique (nous n'avons pas eu la chance de voir le dauphins qui se montre parfois). L'accès est un peu complexe mais on oublie très vite ce petit incovénient.

Three girlfriends stayed in the studio, we were treated like friends and had great fun with Aly and Angela. They were so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The studio can cater for up to 5 with a shower room and basic kitchen area with a table for eating at. It was bright and very clean. There are also rooms in the main house but the Dog House was perfect for our needs. There is a short walk to a lovely viewing point on the cliffs with a grand seat for surveying the seals. Lots of different grasses, flowers and insect life to entertain. Stonehaven is a 5 minute drive and it has good places to eat, a nice boardwalk along the beach and two fab ice-cream shops. Some good little independent shops too. Our hosts were able to suggest taxis to shuttle us around should we want to enjoy a glass of wine. We also took a taxi into Aberdeen which was not far at all. We managed an in-house massage too which was just what the doctor ordered. Peahen hatched two chicks just after we left. The breakfasts were really special and plentiful. Aly and Angela were perfect hosts, I would like to think that we would return some time in the future. Nots of caution: drive VERY slowly down the track into Toadhall, quite bumpy but worth it.

Appena arrivati pensiamo di trovarci in un posto un po' sperduto e scomodo, invece ci appare una fattoria curatissima che accogli i propri ospiti in stanze o cottage splendidi. Noi eravamo in 5 (4 adulti e 1 bambino) in quella chiamata "dog house" grandissimo locale attrezzato di tutto punto. I proprietari sono gentili e disponibili, con un'eleganza e accoglienza di altri tempi! Preziosi i suggerimenti di entrambi! La spiaggia a pochi minuti a piedi ci ha permesso di vedere un cerbiatto zampettare sulla sabbia, mentre in fattoria girano liberi pavoni, conigli, oche e galline! Ambiente davvero incantevole! Anche la colazione!!! Consigliato davvero, e complimenti!

We came up to the Hogmanay celebrations in Stonehaven and there were very few places with space left- it was clearly meant to be!!! After an alarming right-hand turn off the dual carriageway we found ourselves descending a terrifying stone-wall surrounded farm track. Convinced the GPS had misled us again we were looking to turn around when a handy parking area appeared, and some sharp-eye person in the back seat spotted the writing on the gate 'Toadhall'. Greeted by the most lovely of hosts we were advised where we could go for dinner, what we could do regarding the car, which taxi companies would know where we were, you name and they had the answer. We spent the first night trying to identify and odd hissing noise we heard occasionally from outside, and over an absolutely delicious breakfast of fresh eggs and toast we discovered the source- a goose!!! He even stayed still enough for a picture. Lovely hosts suggested that we leave our car in Stonehaven for the night after the Hogmanay ceremony, and took us to collect it again the next morning- as well as a late check-out on New Years day- could you ask for anything better?!?! Well the managed it, as it happens, with the full Scottish breakfast. Quite possibly one of the best B&B's I've ever stayed in, and certainly the nicest hosts!!

fabulous stay, just an overnight to watch the sunrise over the ocean, a nice 5 minute stroll from the apartment. Beautifully fitted out, very clean, amazing continental breakfast, perfect host, able to fit our family of 5 together, even had great tv reception and wifi which was not expected. Toasty and warm which is something i find many hotels lack in. Then off to Dunottar castle in 5 mins.

We stayed in the Luxury Studio Apartment. This is beautiful accomodation which cannot be faulted. Excellent facilities and cleanliness. The hosts are warm and welcoming and more than happy to offer advice regarding the local area and sightseeing. The location is lovely and quiet, the secluded beach is a real bonus. We would have no reservations in recommending this property to anyone.

Le camere sono molto belle,pulite e spaziose..addirittura nella nostra c'erano sia la vasca,che la doccia.La proprietaria è gentile,disponibile,solare..fare colazione con una persona che ti accoglie con il sorriso fà sempre molto piacere(almeno a noi).La colazione era ottima:la migliore che abbiamo fatto nel nostro soggiorno in Scozia,e nonostante fosse molto abbondante la signora continuava a chiederci se volevamo qualcos'altro..peccato averci soggiornato una sola notte..lo consiglio veramente a tutti..

The accommodation was fantastic we had booked the self catering studio while we were working on the area. Angela couldn't have been more helpful with directions information on the place. I will be booking this again when we are back in the next few months.
