Diesen Urlaub kann man mit einem einzigen Wort zusammenfassen: perfekt! Wir sind mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern gereist und dafür war das Haus perfekt. Man geht die Treppe hoch und hat je 2 Schlafzimmer mit Badezimmer auf der rechten und der linken Seite. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet mit Kaffeemaschine, Küchenmaschine, Milchaufschäumer etc. . Atemberaubend ist der Blick über den Infinitypool übers Meer. Sonnenuntergänge mit einem Drink in der Hand in dem wunderschönen Garten lassen die Tage herrlich ausklingen. In den 2 Wochen kam 2x eine sehr nette Dame, die unser Haus gereinigt hat und zusätzlich gab es einen fleißigen Gärtner, der sich um die Außenanlage kümmert. Es war einfach so wunderschön, dass wir direkt für das nächste Jahr gebucht haben

Wir waren 2 Wochen im Frühjahr 2019 in diesem wunderschönen Haus, es ist alles perfekt! 4 große Schlafzimmer mit Ensuite-Badezimmern, super getrennt in 2+2 Zimmer (auch für 2 Familien super geeignet). Sehr viel Platz im EG mit Küche, Esszimmer, Wohnzimmer... Und dann diese riesige Terrasse, der wunderschön angelegte Garten, der beheizte Pool, der Blick auf das Meer - PERFEKT! Die Ausstattung ist super, an alles ist gedacht. Es wird sogar mehrmals gereinigt. Unsere 3 Kinder (5+5+8 Jahre) waren ebenfalls begeistert, wir haben für 2020 erneut 2 Wochen gebucht. Ansprechpartner sind immer erreichbar, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann es wirklich nur empfehlen.

Simply Outstanding. We have a history of staying in high-end villas and this villa sits there with the best. We have just returned to the UK, after staying for 2 weeks at this villa, it is absolutely stunning with amazing frontline ocean views! The villa is decorated and equipped to a very high standard and has everything you need and more for a perfect stay. The location, surroundings, view, pool was simply amazing and we would thoroughly recommend a stay here without a doubt. A car is recommended - but nothing disappoints - don’t hesitate to book.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette splendide propriété début août. La villa très bien aménagée et décorée, sa piscine à débordement surplombant l'océan ou encore le très beau jardin magnifiant les plantes de Madère furent un réel enchantement. Un endroit qu'il était difficile de quitter pour aller se balader ou faire une sortie dauphin (à 1 km), et dans lequel nous avions un réel plaisir à revenir le soir. Un Hotel de luxe pour vous, sans promiscuité, à coté des plantations de bananes, manques et raisins. Propriétaire anglais particulièrement sympathique, il est sur l'île depuis 10 ans, et possède sa propre maison en dessous de la villa. Ses assistants pour le ménage et le jardin sont également à féliciter. Bravo.

Buyer beware: you are not renting a private villa here. You are renting the 3rd villa on a small plot of land, with the owner (Noel - wannabe local Lord of the Manor, with his ‘team’ of 2 local helpers) living in one, and Noel’s girlfriend living in the other (don’t ask...I honestly don’t know...but weird). The downstairs of the villa (see attached pics) faces the other 2 villas and has no blinds or curtains of any kind, downstairs. We felt the full pain of this on our very first morning when, during breakfast, Mr. Noel (as he insists on being called by his ‘team’, who grovel around behind him) and his girlfriend came waltzing, bold as brass, down the side of the villa - my wife grabbing whatever she could to cover herself up quickly - and started chatting to us about the merits of putting the pool cover on overnight. It got worse from there. Throughout the week, you could feel Mr. Noel and his girlfriend constantly watching you. They loiter in the garden (see pics attached) and watch you by the pool. They have the gardener (poor old Nelson - lovely guy, but spends all day being ordered around the garden by Mr. Noel) there all day every day. You literally have no privacy. The villa is lovely and modern, with four nice bedrooms and pretty much everything you need. The pool is cold as ice - Mr. Noel claims it is heated but it isn’t. The internet signal is very weak (cheapest package, me thinks) and only works downstairs. And you will need it, folks. You will need to download on your iPad anything you want to watch in the evening, as the TV setup is extremely poor. Ironically, the only time we WANTED to speak to Mr. Noel (to get the secret PIN code to watch a football match) we couldn’t find him. It turned out he’d gone out for dinner with his girlfriend. We eventually got his phone number from Nelia the cleaner (lovely woman - very kind and helpful, and very hardworking) and called him, but he said he couldn’t remember the PIN and sounded seriously upset that I’d interrupted his dinner. The local ‘town’ of Calheta is, and I exaggerate not one tiny bit, garbage. After a 10-15 minute walk down the cliff face (30 mins back up - don’t believe the hype), I cant tell you what a disappointment it is. There are a couple of AWFUL ‘restaurants’ (see my reviews) with cheap plastic furniture and the terrible local lager, Coral - which is the only beer you’ll drink on the island, by the way. We had a couple of good days out in Funchal, and to be honest I wish we’d just stayed in Funchal. There wouldn’t have been any weirdos peering into our villa all day, that way.

Die Aussicht auf Infinity pool, Meer und Bananenplantagen ist unglaublich schön! Korrespondenz und Buchung waren unkompliziert und zuverlässig! So hatten wir eine traumhaft schöne Woche mit Faulenzen am Pool, Inselerkundigungen, Levadawanderungen, Golfspielen und beeindruckendes Silvesterfeuerwerk in Funchal. Bei Fragen war Solanda hilfsbereit und liebenswürdig zur Stelle! Haus und Insel sind absolut empfehlenswert! Vielen Dank, Amanda, und hoffentlich bis bald einmal

We had an amazing time in this beautiful house. There are so many small touches which really make this house a home. Communication with Amanda was fantastic, always responding promptly to emails. The pool and views are as amazing as they look in the pictures and whilst it is a steep walk down to the marina we took the advice of other visitors and just paid four euros for a taxi ride back to the house. There is lots to see and do, we hired a car to give us flexibility and took lots of day trips to different parts of the island. The natural pools in Porto Muniz are lovely and worth the trip particularly if there is nice weather. I would recommend this property to anyone considering staying in Calheta and if we return to Madeira will be back in touch with Amanda immediately.

Angefangen über die Buchung, den Kontakt, den freundlichen Empfang und die Betreuung vor Ort fühlten wir uns stets wohl. Das Haus entspricht vollständig der Beschreibung und verdient wirklich die Bezeichnung "Luxury Ocean Front Villa". Das Haus ist zudem vollständig ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll und individuell eingerichtet; mit Liebe zum Detail. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse über den Pool auf das Meer wird uns nie mehr loslassen - einfach fantastisch. Wir hatten Erholung pur gesucht und gefunden. Nochmals herzlichen Dank an die Vermieter. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Nous rentrons de Madère. Outre les attraits de cette merveilleuse île, la villa nous a laissé sans voix. Nous sommes partis à 2 familles de 4 personnes (2 adultes et 2 ados) dans chacune des familles. La villa est idéale pour cette configuration. Jusqu'à présent, nous nous étions toujours refusés à partir avec des amis ... nous pouvons dire que la villa a largement contribué à notre merveilleuse entente. Tout est parfait : le cadre, la vue sur l'Atlantique depuis les chambres, depuis la terrasse, depuis la piscine. Le jardin est magnifique. La place et l'agencement : la villa est spacieuse et permet de ne pas se marcher dessus. La pièce principale est vaste. Le décor est parfait dans les moindres détails - même les boules des tringles à rideau s'accordent avec le lustre L'équipement : du high level, depuis la bouilloire où l'on règle la température au robot Kenwood, de la plaque à induction à la machine à café ... une cuisine de rêve - une buanderie, une barbecue pour faire griller les magnifiques poissons Solanda nous a chaleureusement accueillis et Noel est de suite venu nous proposer de réserver pour nous dans un restaurant le 1er soir. Tous ses conseils pour les restaurants nous ont ravis. En bref, nous ne rêvons que d'une chose tous les 8 : revenir à Madère ... dans cette villa !
