Well designed and looked after home. Very clean with comfortable living spaces and bedrooms. Heated pool. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely outdoor cooking and dining space. Both shaded and sunny outdoor relaxation areas. Great view from the house.

Well kept, comfortable villa with a friendly "feel". Very well equiped throughout. The restaurant a "downhill" walk away was good. The beach and supermarket were only a short drive away. We only have 2 minor issues. The WiFi was not as user friendly as some and the driveway entrance was a bit "hairy" for the first couple of days. Overall an excellent rental, we had a very enjoyable week with good weather.

We loved our stay in Casa Do Julio. We were made to feel very welcome and the provisions were useful as we waited for our Covid 19 test results. This is a beautiful house, located up a very steep drive above Calheta and with lovely views. We particularly loved the 3 different areas to sit outside and the outside kitchen. The house was spotlessly clean for our arrival.

The Villa was really beautiful and had everything you need for a relaxing holiday. My mum walks with a stick so parts of the patio were really difficult for her to negotiate, especially by the pool which is accessed by a steep ramp or narrow steps. Other that that she was fine. The villa is very comfortable and the hosts are very helpful. They had left provisions in the fridge for when we arrived which was lovely after a long journey. Our Madeira arranged everything for us including the transfers from the airport and arranged to have our hire car delivered the next day to the villa. The driveway up to the property is very steep and narrow and takes a little getting used to!! The views from the patio are beautiful and we had some lovely sunsets when we were there. There are lots of outdoor areas, some under cover and we even made Paella in the giant pan on the barbecue outside!! Overall we had a very relaxing time and would definitely recommend this property to others.

Amazing time spent in this lovely villa. Very steep entrance drive into the villa dented the car. Madeira is full of steep climbs, hire a 4 track if you can.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Casa do Julio. The house is high up on the hill, with views of the sea, and the terrace gets sun all day. The house is well equipped, comfortable and beautifully clean. Calheta is a short drive away, with a supermarket and restaurants. Thank you so much, we really enjoyed our stay.

Our holiday in casa do Julio was amazing. The house is even better than on the pictures. Hope we can come back one day.

N'hésite plus c'est à la Casa Julio que vous passerez des moments inoubliables..
