Stay at manoir de puyval Rully
We had an excellent stay at this manner this summer! The house is an ancient wine castle renovated in authentic style. The rooms are luxurious and very confortable. The living room and kitchen are spacious and well equipped. Outside, one can repose in large natural garden. The house is easily accessible and the region offers a great journey for wine lovers. Highly recommended!

Wundervolle Tage in Manoir de Puyval
Mit 6 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern haben wir eine wunderschöne Woche in Rully verbracht. Das Haus ist ausgezeichnet, sehr authentisch, sehr sauber und ausgesprochen geräumig. Das Umland ist prächitg und wir haben wunderschöne Wanderungen durch die Weinfelder unternommen. Ein absoluter Anrater für alle die gerne einen ganz ursprünglichen Eindruck von der Bourgogne bekommen wollen!

Magnifique demeure de charme pour un séjour en famille en Bourgogne viticole
Avec 12 adultes, nous avons passé 4 jours dans ce manoir décoré avec beauoup de goût. Les prestations offertes sont de haut standing : chambres spacieuses, litterie de qualité, magnifiques salles de bains privatives, cuisine de rêve, superbe salle à manger avec du mobilier trié sur le volet, etc.
Ce qui est un grand avantage, c'est que la maison est très spacieuse et que tout le monde dispose de suffisamment d'espace pour se sentir à l'aise. Il y a même une chambre avec un petit salon privé...
Le manoir disopose également d'un grand parc arboré. Mais comme il avait neigé, nous avons uniquement profité de la vue depuis le salon, assis dans les chesterfield, profitant du feu ouvert et d'un excellent verre de Bourgogne.

Un très bon choix pour un sejour en famille ou entre amis
Nous avons été enchantés par cette location comprenant 6 chambres. nous étions 11 en famille, nous avions toutes nos aises compte tenu de l'espace et de la dimension des chambres. Il s'agit plus d'un domaine que d'une villa telle que nous la concevons dans une location classique. Il ne manque vraiment rien aux équipements: la cuisine très vaste nous permettait de partager les repas sans utiliser la vaste salle à manger.
L'intérieur est décoré avec goût. 5 des 6 chambres possèdent une salle d'eau avec WC ; la literie est de très bonne qualité, le tout dans une propreté irréprochable.
Les propriétaires avaient pris soin d'allumer le chauffage la veille de notre arrivée ce qui a largement agrémenté notre confort.
Compte tenu du temps , nous n'avons pas profité des équipements extérieurs, ce n'est que partie remise car c'est une prestation de qualité où je reviendrai certainement.

Lovely location for 8 people
The mansion was in a good location, had beautiful reception rooms and gardens and was very well equipped. Unfortunately, there were 10 adults (5 couples) in our party, having been advised on the website that there are 5 en suite bedrooms. Actually, only four of these are suitable for adults, the 5th being clearly a children's room, with a tiny ensuite, and much less space and grandeur than the 4 main bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms provide. My experience of staying was therefore not as positive, and I think it would be helpful if the website was to make this clear.

Sorry to hear that your friends didn't inform you in advance about the different rooms available in the manor. There is indeed one room with ensuite bathroom that is a little smaller, but the total surface of that room with its private bathroom is 20 m², which is still larger than the standard rooms you'll find in the area.

One of the most beautiful experience of my life!
We stayed as a family of 12 (3 generations) for a week. First impressions of the property and surroundings were WOW! It's a beautiful and peaceful location, the house and grounds are huge and wonderfully presented. We loved the location and the tasteful refurbishment of the manor by the owners. Great place to be, not too far from Beaune and a lot to do, see and taste between Beaune and Chalon, which were all easy to reach. The surrounding countryside and villages are astonishing.
All 12 of our party (aged from 3-68) really enjoyed the stay. If you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful location to explore Burgundy, you must consider this property. The local town of Rully has a lovely restaurant, cafe and a local shop for necessities.

Prestations exceptionnelles au cœur de la Bourgogne viticole
Comment couvrir de louanges cet établissement hors catégorie tout en gardant un ton impartial ? Epreuve difficile ! Il s’agit d’une magnifique demeure historique dans le charmant village de Rully, village viticole produisant un excellent Bourgogne premier cru. La maison, accompagnée d’un magnifique parc aux arbres centenaires, a été luxueusement rénovée par des propriétaires qui ont mis en valeur le charme et le cachet du manoir : respect des éléments anciens, utilisation de matériaux de qualité, goût sublime de la décoration, … Idéalement située au centre de la région viticole entre Dijon et Mâcon, il vous sera difficile de trouver un logement présentant le même rapport qualité-prix.
Le manoir est composé de 6 chambres très spacieuses (literie haut de gamme !), dont 5 avec une luxueuse salle de bain privative. Les pièces communes comprennent deux salons majestueux décorés d’objets chinés avec soin, une salle à manger digne des festins les plus nobles et d’une cuisine hyper-équipée. Le tout a été si bien agencé que même en groupe de 12 adultes tout le monde y trouve la quiétude ou la convivialité qu’il recherche.
Pour la première fois depuis 20 ans, nous avons décidé de retourner une deuxième fois au même endroit… Tellement on a été enchanté par la gentillesse de l’accueil, la qualité des prestations et le charme de cette magnifique demeure. Rendez-vous donc l’été prochain.

MAGIE DES LIEUX
Calme , douceur , bien être pour une famille de dix personnes qui ont décidé de se réunir pour les soixante dix ans de leur marraine et de leur amie. Deux jours c'était beaucoup trop court pour goûter au charme de cette demeure . Dès notre arrivée nous nous sommes sentis chez Nous , dans notre maison de Famille. Tout est prévu pour le plaisir de vivre en famille . La demeure est splendide ; le moindre détail est pensé dans chaque pièce. Nous y avons été si heureux;

Ideal French Vacation
We found Manoir de Puyval to be spacious, comfortable and convenient for our two week stay. Our family found ample quiet places to read, work, play and talk. Bedrooms were large with well appointed bathrooms. The kitchen made for easy food preparation to feed our large group. We all ate together in the kitchen or formal dining room. The convenient laundry room made dealing with laundry of 5 children, 5yrs and under, a breeze.
The location of the home is hard to beat. We walked to a bakery every morning. Wineries were close by and cases of wine were carried home easily. 1/2 day or day trips to Lyon, Dijon, Beaune, Chagny, etc., were simple and direct.
The owner was very responsive from day one. She promptly answered every email and helped us with all questions.
We had a wonderful time and felt the house was perfect for us. Everyone of us would highly recommend it and would love to revisit Manoir de Puyval.

Hard to imagine a more perfect holiday home in Burgundy
The manoir is spacious, elegant, and comfortable, with a fantastic kitchen, lovely bedrooms with en suite bath, and a brand new salt water pool. Located in the charming town of Rully, it's an ideal place to immerse yourself in vineyards and history.
Our group of friends (four couples) took advantage of the bicycles provided to pedal along the Voie Verte, visiting Chalon, Chagny, and Santenay. We enjoyed dinners in the lovely yard and at the restaurant in town, took the train to Dijon for a day, visited castles and wine tastings and farmers markets, roman ruins and romanesque churches.
Sigrid, our host, was helpful and gracious. All in all, a fantastic stay in a lovely spot. Highly recommended.

Thank you for this lovely review. Rully is indeed a perfect base for getting to know Burgundy. I can only say that it's hard to imagine more perfect guests, our house looked immaculate after your stay.
