De dochter van de baas ( :) ) verwelkomt je persoonlijk op hun wijngaard, met trots, passie en enthousiasme vertelt ze over hun prachtige wijnen, de druiven en wil ze dat iedere gast zich thuisvoelt.
Vanuit de wijngaard heb je een fenomenaal uitzicht op Assisi. Beter kunnen de wijnen en de regionale specialiteiten niet smaken.
Van alle uitjes in Umbrië spant deze de troon!

Heeeeeeeeeel lang moeten wachten (1 uur) totdat de dame met de picknick mand er aan kwam. Prijs ook wat aan de hoge kant voor wat je ervoor terug krijgt... very long waiting time (1 hour) and price on the high Side

I'm so sad to read you review,I think there was just a misunderstanding.
Pic nic in the vineyards experience includes a guided tasting of several wines in the wine tasting room and a walk in the vineyards with a self-guided tour that brings you to the most panoramic area, with S. Francis Church and the whole city of Assisi just 800 m from you.
In this beautiful place you enjoy the Pic nic.
We always suggest to enjoy the walk for at least 45 min./1 hour.
The walk is very easy and it's about 1,7 km to go (and 1,7 to come back tothe wine tasting room), but if you stop reading the information boards, take the photos you like, pick some grape to taste, enjoy the landscape...1 hour is suggested, having fun time flies!
That's why we wait about 1 hour, so you can enjoy the walk and then the wine and food at the right temperature (especially in summer!).
We always explain it in the wine tasting room and we always ask our clients whether they prefer the pic nic basket at a different time.
If you preferred to have the basket before you had just to ask, we would have done it.
If the time of the arrival of the basket wasn't clear, you were welcome to ask, we would be glad to give you more information.

Vriendelijke ontvangst en na een zelfstandige wandeling door de wijngaard stond de eigenaar op het hoogste punt van de wijngaard met een prachtig uitzicht ons op te wachten met een goed gevulde picnicmand. Wat een verzorging, super compleet met allerlei lekkers van de locals en natuurlijk een heerlijke fles saio wijn! Echt een aanrader. Rust en genieten!
