Prachtige, grote camping, in een bos. Met goede voorzieningen en een foodtruck met heerlijke sushi! Ik zou er zeker teruggaan als t kon! We moesten de volgende ochtend op tijd bij de Ferry zijn en dit was ook om die reden een fijne camping. Echt n aanrader!
Mooi gelegen camping. We hebben deze overnachting geboekt om de volgende dag door te varen naar Vancouver. Prima plekken. Sanitair schoon en groot. En douches ok. Betalen met een muntje is nooit fijn. Heb altijd het idee dat ik dan met doucheschuim in mijn ogen te lang wil douchen. Nog een nadeel aan de douche. Een gordijn en geen deur is ook niet prettig. Uitzicht vanaf de plek maakt alles goed.

Our park is very conveniently located near both major ferry terminals, so it’s a great place to stay if you’re coming from, or heading to, the mainland.
Like many private parks, we do charge for showers to keep them at a reasonable length and alleviate lineups, although we haven’t upped our rate of one dollar for five minutes since opening 25 years ago. Our wonderful site crew does a great job keeping everything clean and tidy. We’ve taken note of your comment about the shower doors. Our other larger shower house does have doors on its showers, so is more private.

Op weg naar de ferry vanaf Duke Point deze camping geboekt. Mooie ruime plaatsen, tussen heel veel groen. Leuke wandeling langs de camping. Goede voorzieningen. Douches en toiletten zijn schoon. Alle afval wordt gescheiden en de bakken dagelijks leeggemaakt. Wifi voor een extra fee of gratis in de office. En op 10 minuten van de ferry.

We’ve done our best to keep our park as green and forested as possible, while providing full amenities to our guests. Our incredible staff keep everything clean, tidy and welcoming.
Our central location on Vancouver Island makes us a great base for exploring much of what our Island has to offer, and our proximity to two ferry terminals makes for easy access to the mainland.

Gezellig café terras met prachtig uitzicht over het water naar het vaste land. En lekker ijs! Sympathieke bedrijfsvoering.
Camping is mooi opgezet. Helaas hadden wij op onze plaats met ‘oceaanview’ (die we rereserveerd hadden) geen uitzicht omdat de bosjes te hoog waren. Bij het café was gelukkig wel dat mooie uitzicht.

We love our summer operations Living Forest Café too, where 100% of profits are donated to four different charities and non-profit societies helping people in need and a local organization that saves special places as public parkland for us all to enjoy.
The word "living" in Living Forest is very fitting. Everything grows(!), which is wonderful, but despite our large grounds teams' huge efforts each spring with pruning prior to the summer season to try and make sure plants in the view corridors are trimmed back, occasionally the plants regrow very quickly impeding the view in a particular site.
I'm sorry that was the case for you. I wish you had mentioned it to the office while you were with us. Perhaps we could have sent a grounds team member to have helped.
