We would like to thank our guests for writing a review concerning our hotel. In all our years of operations, it has been our policy to never respond to any review made by our guests. Nevertheless, we must reply to this review, as well as the one titled "Geen aanbeveler, ondermaats" (both written by the same couple), since there are a lot of intended or unintended inaccuracies that need to be addressed, and present a false picture of our hotel.
It is our daily effort to provide a friendly family-run experience and facilitate as much as we can the desires of our guests and that is heavily depicted in the overwhelmingly positive reactions that we receive from our guests. This was the case also for the guests who wrote this review, by providing from the first day of their stay extra support for their mattresses, preparing every day part of their individual breakfast, and also assisting them in transportation and places to visit in Lesvos.
We pride ourselves, and we let our guests know, of the fact that we provide many homemade and home grown vegetables, fruits, ice cream, marmalades, olive oil and other local ingredients to our breakfast buffet and restaurant menu. Our breakfast buffet always includes fried eggs or omelet (offered on a heated plateau), thus never cold, fruits and vegetables from our farm, other local products and of course yoghurt.
Limited English knowledge, could hardly be claimed in our hotel, since both brothers who run the hotel daily, studied in the US and know more than one foreign languages, and the rest of the family and reception staff can at least converse in English fluently.
We are sorry that our guests had a bad experience in our hotel, despite our efforts for the contrary, and we hope that they will have a better vacation in our island in the future.
