THE BEST TENTED SAFARI CAMP!

Langa Langa is hands down the best tented safari we've ever stayed at! What we expected was simple tented camp that was close to the Kruger gates and didn't cost a ridiculous amount, Langa Langa far exceeded that. We were welcomed by Shaun and Silence with cold water, face clothes and big smiles helping us with our bags and excited for us to be there. Our tented room was gorgeous, a large and comfortable king size bed, air-conditioning in the room, private bathroom at the back, private deck right with endless bush views and the small details that the amazing Langa Langa team did, such as turn-down services, snacks prepared for us when we were basking by the swimming pool or around the camp fire, always ready to pour us another drink or show us around and tell us stories made the experience that much more special. Breakfast and dinner was included in our stay and we honestly loved every meal! Made locally and fresh showcasing true African cuisine. We had to make use of the safari drives that Langa Langa offered and we are so glad we did! Sly is an incredible game ranger with many years experience. Incredibly sweet and knowledgeable, we saw so many animals; even a sleep leopard that we got to watch for a while that only Sly found! He taught us about the different plants and trees that the local communities use, took us to spots where the views were incredible and always had waters/drinks ready if we needed. Most of the time it was just us on this safari drive so it really felt private and special. Shaun is so fun and friendly, we had such a good time getting to know him and his wonderful team! Thank you to Langa Langa! We've already told all our family and friends about your beautiful camp and we hope to come back soon... and stay longer this time! :)…

Extraordinary stay at LangaLanga. We'll come back ASAP

We can only recommend LangaLanga Tent lodge. We stayed for two nights and it was the most amazing experience for us, also compared to stays at Lodges in Sabi Sand. The lodge is very nicely located in the middle of the bush. Great design and very well in condition. The pool provides an nice option for a dip to cool off. The team at LangaLanga makes you feel as friends, rather then being quests. Breakfast and dinner are outstanding. Especially dinner at the campfire under the starts. Service is excellent and they really take care of you. The offered game drives where excellent. Sly, the guide, is very nice and explains a lot of different things you see in Kurger park. We recommend the morning game drive. The way to Kruger on dirt roads during sunrise is already special. The tents provide amazingly much space and are well thought trough. The en-suite baths are very convenient for stops to the loo at night. Other lodges provide this externally. Tents are very clean. Very good and comfortable beds. Not to soft, not to hard. Just right. Amazing was the view from your tent into the bush and hearing the animals at night. We will come back. …

Wonderful stay in the bushveld

We had a wonderful trip to Langa Langa over the Easter weekend. Personal circumstances meant we were in Johannesburg just before Easter and we felt we were very lucky to find a place like this a mere week before a long weekend. They have not been open long so no doubt this won't happen again. The rates are reasonable and with brunch and dinner and a daily game drive into Kruger in a registered game vehicle, with an experienced guide included, it definitely appealed to us. The tents are well positioned in the camp, with private decks and have everything you need including the most comfortable beds. The shower needed a bit of fiddling to get a perfect temperature mix but our host, Shaun, was quick to assist. So don’t hesitate to mention it should you experience the same. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to look after us. Nothing was too much trouble. Glenda, the chef, was really fantastic and all our meals were delicious. Her oxtail is a not to missed speciality. The dinners were served in the Boma around the camp fire - a perfect bush experience. With Sylvester's expertise we saw lots of amazing sights in Kruger and our game drives were the highlight of our stay. He is also an excellent bird spotter, which we really appreciated. Finally, it’s a very family friendly camp and so there are likely to be lots of little ones around, especially around the pool. And especially over week ends or school holidays. As long time grandparents we enjoyed the interaction but it is something to hear in mind if you’re after a romantic getaway. BUT with the tented accommodation so well positioned around the edges of the camp just sitting on your deck surrounded by the bush you will still be able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the bushveld no matter how busy the camp is.…

Langa Langa is a must visit!

WoW! Thank you very much Langa Langa! Unbelievable experience. My kids already want to know when are we back..There is not many other bush experiences that comes close to the personal touch we recieved. See you soon!

Bushveld get away

What an awesome family/friend get away. Kid friendly with top class service. Love the luxury tents. It’s spacious and comfy. The staff are excellent and very friendly. Highly recommended for family and friends, that love a bushveld bomb fire and enjoying the roaring of lions close by.
