There was nothing not to like - the extra big bedroom and bathroom and then your own seperate lounge. Beautifully appointed and very private. Good on site parking and really close to visit "New Lanark" and an excellent pub withing in walking distance. Breakfast was superior to anything else we have had so far in Uk. Highly recommenced.
No. 58 is a superb bed and breakfast and the hospitality very warm and friendly. We had our own separate lounge with unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was fantastic particularly the huge dish of fresh fruit.
I stayed for 1 night 05 July 2018. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left The Owner Margaret could not have made me feel more welcome. She immediately got me fresh milk so I could make a hot drink in the very comfortable seperate lounge area that had Popular make Coffee Pods and a variety of Teas, Fresh Fruit and Biscuits. The separate bedroom was large with a very comfortable double bed and a music system and large library in it. The separate Bathroom next door was again large with a wide range of toiletries. Every aspect of these rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast choice was unbelievable. So much to list and I opted for Porridge and Scrambled Eggs with Smoked Salmon. Along with homemade Apple Carrot and Ginger Juice which was the best tasting juice I've ever tasted. The Porridge was the creamiest I have ever had and The Scrambled Eggs with Salmon and Chives was Restaurant standard and again so Tasty. Margaret extremely helpful and friendly and I would highly recommend.…
The reason for our stay in Lanark was for my cousin's 50th birthday. From the moment we arrived at No 58 we were made to feel more than welcome. Our hostess was very accommodating in the fact that she offered to take us to the venue instead of us booking a taxi. The accommodation was very well laid out with us having an area of the house to ourselves and It had everything that we needed. Lots of choice for breakfast, when it arrived it was presented beautifully and tasted fabulous. Highly recommended.
we sort of stumbled accidentally on this much underrated little place. It was easy enough to find and we were greeted by the most amazing friendly woman we have ever met. The place is a bungalow which has been divided into 2. we had a bedroom bathroom and a lounge to use as we required. the place is spotless and the lounge boasts a table full of beverages biscuits and a fully stocked fruit bowl. Breakfast was just out of this world the food was of a very high standard and all the jams and marmalade were homemade. Overall our stay here was the first night of our holiday and by far the best place we stayed. Margrate we think you are awesome and we will be back on our next visit to Scotland..
