Veel te duur , geen deuren in de douche ruimte , geen privacy , is met grote kinderen dan erg lastig, het ontbijt matig, de kamers met een schuin dak zijn niet prettig je stoor bij herhaling je hoofd , dus beslist niet boven boeken.

Dear Mr André, We thank you for having taken the time to share your impression and regret that you seem to not have enjoyed your stay at Hôtel de la Villeon. Obviously the room you were settled in did not meet your expectations although we clearly send to our valuable clients all the details in our confirmations emails. The details of the rooms are also specified in all the commercial tools: web site, OTA, mobile version, etc... Lastly, when we do the check in, we always take our guest to their rooms and take the time to present the services and all the facilities - as you could see, we remain at the disposal of our guests during the whole time of their stay, if ever you had met a problem during your time with us, we would have been very pleased to assist you and find a solution to make your stay enjoyable. We also regret that you did not appreciate our breakfast - we constantly are very careful with the products that are set on our buffet: they are local products and generally very much appreciated. If you need to develop exactly what was the missing appreciation, we would be most glad to have a conversation with you in order to understand your requests for a better service. Dear Maureen, Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your impressions after you traveled to our region. It was very nice to meet you and to welcome you - our Team remembers you with great plesaure and we are glad to read that you enjoyed the visit of the surroundings of Tournon and also of Hauterives where the PALAIS IDEAL DU FACTEUR CHEVAL is located (it is indeed a great monument to visit!). Our hotel is located in the city center of Tournon-sur-Rhône and all our valuable guests do receive a very detailed access plan before arriving as all our emails indicating a confirmation of stay are sent with full explanations on the restaurants located around our address + the details regarding the parking areas. Please check your emails and let me know if you had receive everything, feel comfortable to let us know. The medieval center of Tournon is narrow and does not allow the implantation of a parking in our street, hence the fact that we advise our clients to use the public one situated 5mns walk distance from our address. Depending on the time of the arrival in our town, you are right to mention that the traffic can be complicated because there is only one bridge that allows the circulation between Tain l'Hermitage and Tournon - this added to the fact that there are many schools and colleges in our town, it leads to a complexe situation on the streets if you arrive in town between 4.30pm and 5.30pm (not during the vacations though!). Hotel de la Villeon looks wonderful and I'm looking for a premium hotel in the area for my wedding guests to reside. The majority of my guests will be from the UK and US and are used to 5 star service. But I'm concerned by the responses to the any less than perfect reviews. It seems that the owner cannot take any slight criticism. I obviously want my guests to feel comfortable and at ease during their stay. The 'negative' reviews themselves were not off putting at all, only the drawn out passive aggressive responses. Can anyone reassure me this is not the case during one's stay?
Dear Rhaddaway, Thank you for your message and for the attention you extend to our property. We would be very pleased to welcome your guests during the occasion of the very special event of your wedding. We opened our mansion in April 2015. Hôtel de la Villeon**** is the first luxury hotel located in the Hermitage-Tournonais region, between Lyon (50mn south of the city) and Valence (15mn north of the city) - our aim is to ensure the best services and a total comfort to our valuable guests. We are dedicated to our clients before they arrive, during their stay and long after they are gone as we offer an authentic and credible attention during each step of their trip. Therefore, it is important to us to understand how we can permanently enhance our offer. Positive and negative reviews are part of our job and we take a very careful attention to each comment as we consider that they can collectively help us to develop an every day better construction of our services. As you could see, I personally take the time to reply to each review. It also my duty to do it objectively to each detail of the comment in order to present a transparent situation of the real facts on the public platform of TripAdvisor. The agressive tone you might have noticed is just the similar tone we have received from some persons who were not fair towards our Team and/or who did not explain the real facts and describe situations that are absolutely not real: the very majority are extremely positive comments and confirm that Hôtel de la Villeon**** does meet the expectations of our guests - the few negative ones did help us all to move onwards and to adjust our services when this was technically possible. But I will never accept that comments remain without a fair reply when the explanations of the few negative clients are not right and totally out of reality. We have been in the business for more than 17 years - I personally started my career in the best Palaces of Paris and 5***** stars hotels in France and abroad. We all know the codes of the high end Hospitality Business and we are extremely honest when it comes to the services we deliver. Since we opened only a year and a half ago, clients from all over the world have stayed in our property and did already come back more than 2 times as valuable repeater guests. I understand that you are concerned by the comfort of your guests during their stay and I can assure you that we will do our outmost to follow up with your requests within the conditions of the location of our property and according to what you expect from us. Each of our clients is a special person to us: during their stay we are permanently in contact with them and we interact in order to make sure that everything is fine. When they affirm that all is perfect during their stay but after they are gone they write comments that are extremely negative it is hurting for the entire Team and for the overall estimation of our property - therefore, it is my responsibility to give a reply and, as you could also notice, to invite the signatory to contact me directly in order that we can liaise in details about what they considered as wrong so we can adjust the points they list. Strangely, none of them has ever contacted us back to have a professional and fair conversation.. Again, our job is subject to constant praise or criticism as is any job related to services: we love our job, we are a professional and engaged Team and we are collectively dedicated to the daily comfort of our guests: feel free to contact me directly at the hotel shall you have any specific request. We will follow up with your project and will take very good care of your demands before, during and after your future stay with us.
