A Taste of Heaven

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Susan's... so much so that we just hated to leave! The home is located just off the plaza and provides easy access to many great shops and restaurants. Susan's warm and nurturing personality shines through in the beautiful Spanish decor -- the gorgeous Diego Rivera mural in the master bedroom is simply captivating, as are all the other murals throughout. Although meals aren't provided, the kitchen comes fully equipped, including a coffee maker and microwave. I highly recommend Susan's Vacation Home -- its warm, inviting and casual atmosphere makes for a comfortable and cozy home away from home. Thanks, Susan!!

Pleasant way to chill out in Sonoma

A group of six friends just got back from a stay in Sonoma at Susan's. The name tells you a lot. It *is* like staying in someone's vacation home; clean relaxing, and do it yourself, so don't expect meals or maid service. There were many thoughtful touches like fresh flowers from the garden, munchies in the room and local recommendations from Susan. We rented out the entire place its decorated with murals and bright " Mexican resort " style colors which might not be to everyone's taste but are appropriate to a vacation home in a former Spanish territory. Three bedrooms with a very pleasant walled back garden are prefect for relaxing with a book or a serious game of UNO after a hard day of wine tasting. The only negative was the garbage collection: every Thursday morning at an early hour right outside the window. If you can deal with being woken up one morning of your stay, the reasonable price, convenient location just of the square and relaxing privacy are well worth it. for contact information check the Sonoma Vacations website …
