Location is very good, in an area with lots of places to eat and shop including Beverly Center. The hotel was recently furbished. Our room was only average and was somewhat noisy. Room and parking were overpriced.

We had a terrific stay at Palihouse West Hollywood. It is a wonderful boutique hotel that is centrally located to many restaurants and shopping. The food was consistently delicious. In addition, the hotel has a fantastic happy hour and many small and comfortable lounge areas to enjoy the property. The pool area is small, but a quiet and a nice place to unwind and relax. Most importantly, the service is top notch. Everyone with whom we interacted was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We would like to highlight the excellent service of Cait at the front desk who took care of any of our needs and questions. In addition, Elliott, a server in the restaurant, is so professional, friendly, and he enhanced our stay. We also thank Chris, a server for his excellent service throughout our visit. Importantly, the manager, Wolfgang, engaged with guests and competently oversaw the entire staff and operations. He did a great job ensuring that the hotel functioned smoothly, and it was clear that he emphasized a “service first approach”. It was a wonderful stay, and we look forward to returning. If we had one suggestion, it would be to replace and update the room windows as street noise can be heard. …

This hotel was to die for, wonderful service, beautiful hotel all around. We adore all the foliage and beautiful sitting areas,it’s nice to find a quiet peaceful environment in such a busy city, Our server was faith and the bartender was Michael they were on top of everything amazing, friendly, and full of life! Can’t wait to come back!!!!

Where to start with the atrocious service at this hotel? Well, I'll start with the positives: Gorgeous design throughout the rooms and common spaces, great toiletries, thoughtful mini-bar stock and just all-around incredibly lovely aesthetics. The cons: First day there I tried calling the front desk to ask about pairing my iPhone with the Samsung TV (which I've done a zillion times on other Samsung TVs). This feature was also prominently advertised on the actual in-room TV. I dialed all available hotel service numbers several times over the course of an hour to no avail. NO ONE WOULD ANSWER. I finally just gave up on the idea of using the television on this trip. The TV only has cable –no standard streaming services available as with every other hotel in 2023. While I'm on the subject of tech, let me point out that even though this hotel opened only a few months prior (after an extensive renovation) there are ZERO USB PORTS in the room. Just your old-fashioned two-prong outlets. In our room, the outlets were so far from the bed and chairs that we didn't have cords long enough to charge our phones. Listen, I'm kind of an old fashioned type who's not super "plugged-in" while on vacation, but y'all, it's 2023! No USB ports in the room???!!! This is all rather odd given that this is a super hipster hotel which will surely draw in the insta/influencer crowd eager to upload their selfies and vlog posts on a regular basis. Again, no USB ports?! Bad design choice, folks. Anyway, aside from their tech blunders, the real issue with this hotel is their thoughtless, lazy and downright rude staff. Basically every single day there was something amiss from housekeeping (no towels one day, no tissue the next, never replenishing soaps, lotions etc. (which were all running low upon our arrival). These are standard amenities/services you expect from even the cheapest hotels, but it was like pulling teeth to get the staff to address any of these issues. So many unanswered calls! I don't know if they're understaffed or what, but they basically refused to ever answer the phone and I had to go down to reception each and every time to ask for glasses, towels, tissue etc., etc. Each time I did I was met with as close to an eye roll as possible and NEVER an apology. I also got the "Uh...yeah they'll be right up" several times and nobody ever came. Again, no apologies. BUT! I'm sure I'm about to get one of those bot-generated "We're so sorry to hear about your experience. We assure you that this is not the usual..." responses. LOL. The worst. Key takeaway: Don't stay here unless you only care about looks.…

This might just be our favorite central LA option and we'd definitely return. Location is great for WeHo, Beverly surrounds. The interior is imaginatively designed and decorated with multiple cosy spaces to relax. The room was spacious and comfortable, nice pillows and bedding. The bathroom was perfect, plenty of room for couples to share. There is a pool. It won't take your breath away but we appreciated the efforts to make a small space work. The restaurant was pretty disappointing, food and service. During our stay, the entrance was under some upgrade/construction, but valet worked as usual. On a Sunday morning, we had hoped to get a noon checkout but it was not available, which always takes the shine off a one-night city stay. If not for that, this is a 5-star review.
