Stayed for two nights, hotel is in a great location right near the hard rock. Lobby is nice, parking was cheap and easy to use. room was clean but hotel really needs an update. Only two elevators for a busy hotel and one was broken so some people were waiting 15 minutes for an elevator. I took the stairs most of the time.
The elevator issue was supposed to be fixed but it wasnt. Long lines to get on elevator on occasion (not always). I suggest using stairs if you are on the lower floors. Security just stood there & kept pushing the button which anyone could have done. They really need to resolve this issue. Room was nice. I would not say it was 1 block from the beach. It was quite the loooooong block to get there but the location was good. Beach was nice and the area of the boardwalk was good. The hotel workers were friendly. I was charged for parking daily even though I left early. Only parked in ramp once, the other days we had to park in a different lot outside which was a little inconvenient but at least we did have parking. Lots of shopping & places to eat without having to drive was nice so we enjoyed our stay.…
We stayed here for two nights for the air show in August in a king suite. It looked as if parking garage was closed because a car was blocking right lane. We looped around and came back and drove around car. Garage is tight spaced but we found a spot. We then went to see if room was ready and to get parking pass. We were told room was ready but needed “final review”. She estimated one hour and it ended up being 4 hours, but ahead of check in time. The elevator service is biggest drawback to hotel as wait times increased during peak hours. Tip is to get in no matter if ur going up or down as it will eventually head to your floor. Sheets for pullout couch were ripped and stained. Room and bathroom were certainly dated but were ok for 2 night stay. They have hose just outside hotel to rinse off from beach which is a block away. Bed was comfortable but would certainly stay elsewhere if I had paid for rooms.…
I booked here being told deluxe room. It was outdated and no jetted tub. Staff was not accommodating. I wrote a complaint never heard from anyone. I asked for upgrade & them told I had to pay an additional 101.50 because I didn’t stay a week.
I booked a condo here through air bnb by a third party hosted by Christian. Paid a hefty deposit for the stay 8 months before I wanted to go. 2 weeks before our stay they canceled our family of 5. This is a busy weekend in AC and no good places were left with anything nearby plus rates had skyrocketed. I wouldn’t trust that you have a secure reservation here.
