The hotel was okay - customer service was good, suite was clean and tranquil, but the spa was overpriced for the QUALITY. I paid $195 for a massage, $75 for a manicure, and $95 for a pedicure. That would have been fine, HOWEVER, my pedicure was splotchy and the very next day my manicure started to chip at the tips. The nail technician was lovely and kind, but there was nothing special about the manicure and pedicure to merit the $75 and $95 pricing. For that price, I expect at least proper technique to prevent chipping. They could have at least given me extra topcoat. Disappointing.
Stayed for a beautiful wedding at this very posh hotel. Banquet hall screams wedding, cute front lobby and nice hotel room. The food for the wedding was delicious and fun entertainment. The hotel is being run by a general manager with questionable morals and shame on Pearle for not doing their homework. He was found guilty for disobeying Canadian labour laws and should not be managing anyone.
The pearle hotel is conveniently located on the waterfront of Lake Ontario. I stayed on the 4th floor but we had people in our wedding party on floors 3, 4 & 5, each with stunning views out of the floor to ceiling window. I loved that you could open the window, smell the rain and get fresh air into the room. There is every amenity you could imagine from an espresso maker to a mini fridge in the room. The towels are fluffy and the robe ridiculously soft and cozy. Perfect balance of posh meets comfort. The beds feel like your sleeping in a cloud.
