How long should we allow for a visit?
I would say at least 2 hours and a half
I would also say about 2 hours minimum
I would say 3 or 4 hours, depending on how much you want to see. There are plenty of workshops and activity/info spots to check out if you are interested (eg. post a letter/postcard from a really old post office). I think it would also depend a bit on how busy it is. We were there on a day that wasn't busy, so had no lines etc wait for. Actually, we spent about 4 hours there and didn't see everything, and didn't even enter the 'inside museum' section! It's fun to just stroll through and stop where you are interested. I do think you could go through quickly in about 2hrs if you don't have much time. It would still be worth it for 2 hours, but you'd miss just enjoying it, if that makes sense.
Are you coming with kids? Either way take your time have fun. There is a woodenshoe/boat workshop for the kids and sometimes an event at the school check the guide for times. We spend 4 hours and did not see everything...
would allow at least 2 hours-but probably more like
4-6
enjoy
We were there for about four hours but we did go into every nook & cranny and spent time watching things work (like the laundry, blacksmith & fishing village, etc) talking to people in the various "houses" and "businesses" and taking time to stop to eat the hot freshly cooked salmon from the smoker boxes. You can take as long or as little time as you wish but I think two hours would be the least :-)
Ideally 4 hours or more. There is so much to see and do as there is an indoor and outdoor part.
At least 2 hours.
At least 3-4 hours. If you exit through the town gate, after visiting the inside museum, you can stroll the beautiful village streets, there are a lot of restaurants with fresh seafood.
