Hello,

Distance by car is 1:45 hours. Connection by train will bring you to either Venray (Oostrum Station) or Boxmeer, but you need a costly cab drive to get to the museum from there. Therefore, it is advisable to rent a car. From Amsterdam, you take the following highways: A2 to exit Tiel/Nijmegen/Gorinchem (highway A15, Tiel direction), and then to exit Zwolle/Eindhoven (highway A50, Eindhoven direction). From there on follow Venlo, which will bring you in about 15 minutes to highway A73. Exit 7 is the Overloon exit.

Hope this will help you out. It might sound rather complex but it is really just highway all the way from Amsterdam to Overloon.
