Great beach and right next to the town of Las Catalinas. Some good snorkeling near the rocky areas on the left and right side when the wind is low and not churning things up. Fantastic place to watch the sunset too.

La seguridad en las Catalinas te sigue a todas partes, te tratan como si fueras un delincuente. Te prohíben sentarte en bancas, sillas, no puedes acercarte a nada.

Absolutely stunning beach right off of Santarena Hotel and Pura Vide Ride & Rentals. Calm, crystal clear waters where you can swim and enjoy the day sun bathing. It was never crowded, and was also able to see some seagulls fishing and flying over the beach on numerous occasions. Beautiful views of the sunset over the surrounding hills as well.

La playa está muy limpia y eso es algo a destacar.
Aunque no es grande el espacio es suficiente para albergar a los turistas necesarios.
El mar es tranquilo, nada peligroso lo cual es un plus.

La arena es compacta porque lo que resulta muy fácil pasear por ella y están construyendo a su lado el poblado Las Catalinas de inspiración española

This is a nice quiet beach but the sand is brown, grey, and black so it's not very pretty. It's a good place to paddle board, swim, or just hang out but we prefer beaches with whiter sand.

This is a great beach! One minute golf cart ride from Casa Chameleon. Nice, shady spots. Beautiful black sand (that is very hot on your feet when it’s not wet) and really pretty red shells.

To access this beach you need to either wait for the tide to go out a bit or walk through Las Catalinas and take the wooden walkway over a small creek and then follow a path through the woods up and down bike trails and it will deposit you at the beach.
There are no facilities. The beach is secluded and you will not see many if any people. The sand is much nicer than at Las Catalinas. On a Sunday’s you will some some local families on the beach enjoying the day and picnicking.

Playa Danta es cálida, sin mucha brisa, oleaje suave, arena negra, piedritas solo en la orilla.
Pará acceso en auto y no hay que caminar tanto para llegar.
Al lado queda Dantita que es más bonita y grande y entre ambas playas hay un mirador.
Pará pasar a Dantita tiene que ser en marea baja o subir jn sendero, que es por el camino donde queda el mirador. Se suben 700m.
