We went to the Olde Pink House for my daughter's 21st birthday. I made reservations about a month in advance when I booked our trip to Savannah. Reservations were for 5pm, we got there about 10 minutes early and were seated right away. From the walk through the doors until we left the service was impeccable. My daughter was greeted with a "happy birthday" comment (I put that we were celebrating on the booking) as soon as I told them who we were. Our server Barry was super; friendly and very attentive. The food..... AMAZING!! We both had salmon with a side of collard greens, both were cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert, but they did bring my daughter some sorbet and a candle to make a wish. Can not wait to visit Savannah again soon just to eat here again.

Great food and friendly service. The southern menu selections were very good
The special flounder was excellent. Lunch is reasonably priced and easier to get reservations. Excellent server in the manager was very kind and gave us a birthday surprise

The WAITER was wonderful. She was sweet knowledgable, and efficient.
Then the food was excellent!!
We had Fried Green Tomato appetizers the Pink House coctail Martini, Chicken, a coffee liqeur martini, Key Lime Pie.
We loved everything about The Olde Pink House - especially the ambience and look of the restaurant, our wait person, and the food!♡ * And, I am comparing it to many super restaurants on my list of favorites all over this country!
Then the food was excellent!!

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon in October, my friend and I hopped off our trolley tour to have lunch here. Since we didn't have reservations, we waited about 45 minutes for a "first available" table or seat at the bar. We got a table next to the bar. With the doors to the outside diners and sidewalk wide open, and the sunshine and air, it was an excellent atmosphere. Patrick was our excellent waiter, bringing my friend her She Crab Soup appetizer quickly. Our food did not take long. Water and soft drinks served in crystal glasses, white tablecloths and cloth napkins, it is such a classy place to be. My friend got the cheeseburger and I got the pork tenderloin medallions which came with a maple sauce on the side. It also included collards and sweet potato fries. It was all so delicious but I couldn't finish it. Patrick invited us to check out the dark, historic and haunted basement bar, and then to go up to the "top" floor (second level) to see the ballroom, which was jaw-dropping as it was being prepared for a wedding reception. There is an elevator in the building to check everything out.

We had high expectations for the Olde Pink House and saved it for our last night in Savannah. The ambience is wonderful and is different in each area of the house. We were seated in the poker room and it had a cosy atmosphere, perfect for the rainy evening. Our waitress, Alissa was friendly and helpful and encouraged us to walk around after our meal. Our favorite rooms were the basement, poker room, study and the office. I would say our meal was good but not outstanding, it was our least favorite of our three nights in Savannah. I didn't care for the artichoke goat cheese fritters and found the strawberry salad to be drowned in vinegar. The scored crispy flounder was tasty but despite the fish being scored, I struggled to not consume bones. The highlight of the meal was the praline basket for dessert.
The house is historic and we loved the environment but not the meal. I would give it another try to see if it was an off night or just what we ordered.

We arrived for lunch without reservations but were warmly welcomed and accommodated immediately. It was difficult to choose an entree because the menu had so many delicious options. We shared Max's Fried Chicken which came with Mac-n-cheese; it was the best fried chicken we have EVER had. Crispy skin and coating and tender meat. Don't miss the pecan pie which is to die for--it's unique. Be sure to request Rachelle; her warmth and professionalism made our experience memorable!

Our group of 5 adults had lunch here today. We had all heard positive comments about the food here and were very much looking forward to dining here. The service was mediocre bordering on inattentive.
Appetizer: "SOUTHERN SUSHI" -
Smoked Shrimp & Grits Rolled in Coconut Crusted Nori - other than the Coconut exterior this was bland and flavorless also the serving size is 3 pieces of sushi cut from a roll… 3 pieces.
Entrees: CRAB CAKE - did not taste like crabmeat my wife or I have ever tasted. It tasted as if they ran low on crab and added shredded fish to fill it out. My wife’s ate half of a crab cake and that was it… not good.
SHRIMP GUMBO: Two in our group had this and thought it was flavorful but found the rice to be tough and hard to chew. The portion size should have been about 25% larger.
CHEERWINE BARBEQUE PULLED PORK SLIDERS - these were tasty and enjoyable but I only received 2 very small, bite sized sliders . I feel this portion size should be for an appetizer not an entree.
MAHI MAHI - this was ordered as an entree… it was served well after the rest of us received our meals. When it was served it was presented in sandwich form. Nothing in the description from our server indicated a sandwich. It was returned and a proper dish was delivered. This was reported to be very tasty.
We were very friendly throughout this and at the end the manager did not charge us for the crab cakes or for the mahi mahi due to how late the dish was served. That was a fair and reasonable adjustment .
All things considered, this was a major disappointment and we cannot recommend this to anyone.

My understanding is that there is a side entrance allowing access to an elevator. I would check first by calling the restaurant.

Unless you go to the downstairs bar area. They allow walking and it’s a quaint atmosphere.

Dress code is casual dress as far as I could tell. We were four women traveling together, and all wore Capri pants with nice tops. I don't remember seeing any men wearing shorts

Does the Olde Pink House have an accessible entrance? I see steps in the front of the building? I m wondering if there is another entrance with a ramp?

Once you know, please share! This is too much of a major landmark for them not to have a solution. Food purveyors would certainly not make deliveries using the front steps. There is no doubt a service entrance at street level - but I would call ahead to make arrangements. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

If your children are well behaved by all means have them experience the fine dining atmosphere. If they need to be entertained and are squirmy this is not the place for them. I am not sure if they have a kids menu, call the restaurant and they will be happy to help you.
