We chose the 'Carbon' theme as it was listed as the hardest (and also fit our schedule!) and it did *not* disappoint! We were a group of 4 - two teens, two moms-of-teens, who are escape room regulars - and found it a great mix of atmosphere, surprise, difficulty, and variety of puzzles. We were all able to contribute, had a few 'd'oh! can't believe we missed that!' moments, and found the staff super helpful and all communications from the company clear and useful. One small note in finding the venue - we had *not* paid attention to the email that mentioned it was on the 8th floor -so originally thought we were in the wrong place, as it just looked like an office building - but that was our issue, not theirs.

We chose the Carbon game as a teambuilding activity. Our game host was very informative, friendly, and collaborative. The puzzles were HARD! They were fun, but we definitely needed some hints to solve all of the challenges. We definitely recommend asking for hints when you get stuck. Really wonderful time, recommend highly!

This was a sharp game packed with innovative puzzles and very few boring padlock. We had two experienced played and "saved the word" with one minute to spare which is ideal. The website claims it's for 2-10 people but I would imagine a lot of
gridlock around each puzzle, because the entire game was linear. Also communication was key!
I'd give it near perfect score if he receptionist (brown hair early 20s?) had not been so rude when checking us in. However, we had a different guy who ran our game who was pleasant and helpful.

Interessante serie di escape room in centro a New York. Da fare almeno in 3-4 persone. Divertenti e non impossibili. Un consiglio? Chiede subito gli indizzi all'inizio, servono a sciogliere l'atmosfera.

We were only two adults with two younger kids so we needed some clues along the way but we did it! The host was wonderful and provided just enough of a nudge when we needed it. So fun.

Super well organized and seamless process to get into the Room. The one we picked was challenging but a ton of fun - very impressed by the level of detail for the clues. Would definitely come again!

What a blast! Three moms and three tweens had a terrific time this weekend. We had a terrific guide for our End of Days adventure. Thanks for the hints! The kids had a blast. It was fun to see them work together and figure stuff out. Lots of fun for all of us and made our trip to NYC so memorable.

We loved our Operation: End of Days Escape Room! The challenges were fun and intelligent and really brought out the teamwork in us. The staff here is kind and professional and all Covid protocols are in effect. We were six adults here for a family birthday outing and we're all so happy we chose the right place!

Great puzzles, fun challenging but still logical. A lot of thought went into designing the room. We had so much fun.
Also, Remi (I for sure misspelled this I am sorry) was fantastic and super pleasant.

Reymi was so nice! All the instructions and clues were clear and easy to follow. I loved the room too. It was Dr. Jekyll’s study. Had that Victorian era vibe.... It was challenging for sure but we escaped!

All of our games have an in-person introduction explaining the rules. We do not have a Spanish option unfortunately.

Yes they do. Only rooms that are private are those listed. Otherwise they throw u in with others.

Pam is correct! 3 of our rooms (Initiation, Hydeout and Nemesis) charge $28/person. The Darkest Hour is private so it is a flat fee of $180 for up to 6 players!

There are a couple of parking garages located on our block (including one that's right next to us)!
Street parking is very limited so be careful.

Some rooms have physical aspects but don't worry, it's not sports, etc. Save the physical strength for the gym and use your mental power to escape.

I would like to come with 4 adults and 4 kids that are 7, 8, 9 and 12 is it doable with the kids?

Hello there! That is definitely doable!
Our usual policy for kids is that if they are under the age of 12 and below, adult supervision is required (we also wouldn't recommend the Darkest Hour room). But for your case, you guys will be fine!
How many people are in a room at one time? a silly question to u I'm sure. What happens if u run out of time and u you didn't solve the puzzle?

There are 8 people in the room at a time. If you run out of time and don't solve the puzzle then you have no bragging rights. They do not reveal the solutions to your group. You just don't win.
