I am an online graduate student and went to visit the USD campus for graduation. The campus is absolutely beautiful. I spent the afternoon walking the campus and taking in the scenery. It is meticulously maintained. There is also a store on site where you can purchase USD merchandise.
If you drive or walk past the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, there is a dead end that provides a beautiful view of the city. Just be advised there is no where to park down there. I stepped out of the car, took a picture and drove back up.
Our graduation ceremony was at Jenny Craig Pavilion. There was plenty of parking in the parking garage. Level 3 provides a direct access exit to the sidewalk up to the pavilion. It is about a 3-5 minute walk.
The staff at the entrance driveway was very helpful and provided me with a map. Be prepared to pay for parking at a meter on site.

Wow, one of the more spectacular college settings I’ve ever seen. Hats off the the grounds crew and building maintenance staff. USD was simply immaculate! Know that education is also top notch. Thank you for hosting this year’s book fair too. Helps USD further connect with the community.

You can enjoy sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean from this green campus that has Tecote Canyon running along one side. Parking is ample and free on Sundays when you can stroll through the campus and/or attend Catholic mass at Immaculata parish. Although cu6rently major construction is going on, when the fall term begins many activities, such as lectures, book readings, plays, and musical performances, happen that are open to the general public.

Set on a hill USD has stunning views of the Pacific Ocean from it's green campus that was designed to uplift through beauty. As Tecote Canyon runs along a long edge you are near the city (campus shuttle bus service from Old Town trolley station), but still above the fray of urban life. Visitors can enjoy this beautiful campus, enjoy a meal with fresh herbs/spices grown next to the café, or participate in many activities, such as lectures, book readings, plays, musical performances, and/or Sunday mass.

A top notch private campus plus USD’s location on top of a hill would make this a great campus to attend.
I found the students here to be very friendly and helpful as I wandered around taking photos and gathering info about college life for my daughter. I was directed to Manchester Hall to get more info about the campus and admissions. The student filled me in on a lot of good details for the food (lots of variety and tasty), internships, social opportunities, etc.
The campus is laid out in a large rectangle with the central part car free so it was nicely landscaped and easy to walk around. The buildings were a Spanish Renaissance style with lots of areas to hang out and study or socialize. Views of San Diego and towards the Pacific Ocean could be had at many different vantage points.
The Immaculata church is in the center of campus and is quite large and beautiful. Inside many naves lined each side of the church and there were many pews so no problem for worshippers to find a seat.
Visitor parking was at either end of the campus. It was a pay by license plate with half hour intervals, 75 cents per.
Worth a visit if in the area.

We brought our daughter here from the East coast, and have been thrilled with her decision to attend this school. Every aspect of the school exceeds expectations! The academics are highly rated, the teachers are skilled and accessible. The students are highly educated and competitive. The campus is spectacular!
San Diego is a postcard perfect area for college. The school overlooks Mission Bay and is minutes from the beach.
We could not be happier with the school.

USD is a campus with amazing sweeping views of the city and the ocean and deliberate landscaping to elicit truth and beauty. They have a rich schedule of book talks, lectures, and classes between semesters for adult learners. In addition they have a collaboration with the Globe Theater and present at least one student directed performance per year as well as an active music program. Check out USD for a learning experience.

We were here for a conference, and what a campus. Besides the expected well-appointed lecture hall, the building had antique furniture ranged around the halls. Fine campus.
