A brilliant show. With so much talent, great music, comedy and sadness also! A very eccentric theatre but all the more interesting. A great night out.

What an awesome evening and fabulous show (A Chorus Line)! I hadn't been to this theater in ages, so it was a real treat to go and be reminded what a beautiful space this is: a real gem of an old SF building! The intimate theater space meant there was really no bad seat in the house. The house staff was soooo nice and helpful and upbeat. I wish we'd gotten there earlier so we could have enjoyed a cocktail there... looked like lots of good options! And the actors -- wow! -- they acted, sang, and danced their hearts out for over 2 hours! Will definitely go back soon!

Saw a fantastic production of A Chorus Line here. I have seen a number of shows at SF Playhouse over the years, and they are consistently excellent. It's a small venue, with no bad seats in the house. Support the theater and go see a show!

A Broadway level production and cast. Thank you SF Playhouse! The play is 2 hours with no intermission but the time just flew by watching and listening to the personal stories and struggles of each cast member! I had to leave town on vacation, but had I stayed I would have returned to see it a 3rd time. How lucky we are to have such a venue and such wonderful talent here in San Fran.

GO TO SF PLAYHOUSE! (I say that as a fellow performing artist)
In 2023 I saw: Clue, Chinglish, and A Chorus.
I saw all for VERY REASONABLE PRICES.
Went alone, with my partner, and with him and his family, and enjoyed the experience every time.
Cute, smallish theater with a decent sized stage, great props and scene changes, high class Bay Area talent.
Parking is manageable and also close to Bart.
Decent food within walking distance, and they have some snacks and drinks.
In 2023 I saw: Clue, Chinglish, and A Chorus.
I saw all for VERY REASONABLE PRICES.

We went to see "A Chorus Line" matinee yesterday, and could not have enjoyed it more. The theater is small and charming. The performance was top notch. The ticket price makes it more affordable for many who would not get to go to the theater. I prefer a more intimate experience and this venue provides that. I'm looking forward to seeing many more shows here.

My recent visit to Playhouse was truly enchanting. The movie A Chorus Line, was a visual and emotional feast. The talented cast delivered powerful performances, and the set design was both creative and immersive. While the pacing could have been slightly tighter, the overall experience was delightful, leaving me thoroughly entertained and eager for my next visit. A wonderful night of theatre that I won't soon forget.

This small, easily accessible theater presents old favorites and new with talented cast members and early curtain times so when the play is appropriate, it's a great destination for families.
We recently saw Chorus Line - it was still thrilling nearly 50 years after it originally opened. Precision dancing, high kicks and talented singers. Check out whatever's playing and consider adding it to your to enjoy list.

Мы посмотрели очень трогательный мюзикл The Chorus line.
Душевное исполнение, уютный камерный зал с удобными сиденьями и хорошим просмотром сцены.
Хочу отметить невероятно добрых и отзывчивых сотрудников. Мы по ошибке купили билеты на вчерашний день и ужасно расстроились. Но нам сразу же переоформили билеты без дополнительной платы. Очень неожиданный и приятный шаг со стороны людей, настроенных на приветливость и желание поддержать своих гостей в праздничном настроении. Большое спасибо!

Outstanding production. Bill English, the director, was brilliant. This is a must see show. I think many of the cast members are Broadway bound.

The seats that say partial view, what is the partial view of and does it affect the show view.

If you're buying partial view seats in the balcony, you'll miss some action at the very front and the very top of the stage. Most of the action takes place in the middle, but you may miss parts of some dance numbers or entrances/exits.

We don't like to have people sit behind us in the event that they talk during the performance, so we typically sit in the last row of the orchestra from which we can see perfectly well.. As stated, it's a small theater.
