The Venu itself is nice and well presented but the food and service not so great - went for out annual Christmas party. We waited nearly an hour between courses and the queue for the bar was ridiculous. There was not nearly enough waiting and bar staff. The live music guy singing while we waited for food was far too loud - i would not return unless out voted by everyone in the office.

The game was amazing except the part of ethan coleman getting sent off. Would recommend going its a great view for professional football

Where do I begin?! Terrible home support, awful food and as I was celebrating a goal, one steward shoved me and called me a c*nt! Really poor for a so called "family friendly" club. Absolutely seething with rage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬

I went to the Ipswich game on 8/1/22 for my annual trip to see the Gills. The stadium & facilities has gone from below average to awful.
Safety - gents toilets had 1 soap dispenser for around 20-30 urinals
Not a great deal of hand sanitiser seen around the ground during a pandemic
1% of fans wearing face coverings (although the club ask them to be worn in areas)
Food & drink - WHAT A SHAMBLES!
Fosters was watered down (no head on the pints)
Ran out of food at the ‘pub grub’ take away before half time!!!! No menus for the food and turns out it was only a hot dog, a pie or a sausage roll….
To keep me warm I had to settle with a Bovril and I can’t complain at that as it was needed!
The Italian & chop stick take aways were closed ….
A real disappointment and change is needed from the top to the bottom.
Let’s not talk about the actual football

Enjoyed the game amazing experience in the rainham end with my partner and his father. Food was average and bit pricey but was so hungry

I previously reviewed the stadium having taken one of the diming packages. That protects you from the awful experience it is for away supporters. There are two places - the open end behind the goal, seats on scaffolding with no cover, and a small seated covered area adjacent to it along the touchline. There's a good view from the seats albeit low. The stewards were fine.
How a professional football ground cannot provide cover now for away supporters is beyond me. Those on the terrace simply get soaked, as this day did nothing but pour. All food and drink is ia a courtyard behind the scaffolding, Toilets are essentially portacabins, queue in the rain for the drink and food then stand there to drink it if you wish. This is 2021 not 1921, and the team are in League 1 offering non league facilities to the away support. That is probably unfair on many non league grounds.
Surely a football league grant would be available if the club itself cannot afford four posts and a plastic roof?

Came here to watch a cup game with my mother, father, brother, sister and uncle. Gills lost 5-4 on penalties, but it was a very exciting game. Easy to book tickets and to get into and navigate the stadium. Seats comfy with a good view of the pitch. Wanted a hot dog at half time but they weren't doing them, which was a little disappointing, although that may have been a blessing...
All a bit grotty but that's all part of the experience!

Pretty standard football club with an standard of all different fans with all different characters. The drinks, where top quality a tad bit over price may need to lower the price a tad. The food was nice but fell like it needs to have more on to be value for money for that price. The atmosphere was excellent.

The stadium was clean had good seating options and staff were helpful but they ran out of all hot drinks at half time .... this is pretty basic stuff and really shouldn’t happen especially in these cold months

There is limited on street parking around the stadium but most is permit holders only. There are no public car parks near the stadium, the nearest one is Balmoral Gardens at the back of the High St about 10 minutes walk to the stadium. Hope that helps,
