What an amazing town!!
So smart, clean and welcoming!
We looked around the museum and found it fascinating!!
The whole town was packed with carparks and sensible shops….including Marks Food Hall.
The river was lovely and accessible…..we went to the Dragon Boat Festival…..wonderful and well attended and free!!
Lots of cafes and eating places including Pizza Express.
We traveled to Cambridge and got the Park and Ride…..only £3 and very frequent.
What an amazing city!!
We traveled to London for the day…..lots of car parking near station……50 minutes and plenty of regular trains into St. Pancreas!! If you go then just a short walk to Granary Square near the canal is wonderful…..splash park and lots of picnic areas near canal!!
A fantastic week and thorough enjoyed by three generations!!

Hidden gem! Fantastic regional museum with lots of history of the area and daily life. Excellent exhibits for children and adults. 45 minutes to an hour. Lovely gift shop. Staff is so engaged. Thursday is market day in the town so keep that in mind with you plan

Pleasant enough market town made more appealing by the park and river. Beware the underhand parking charges in the Riverside car park.

Interesting small museum with genuine displays and rooms based on St Neots history. There are actual jail cells and other settings to wander through plus a small gift shop. Right in the middle of St Neots so combine with another attraction for a day out.

Dropped in our last day in St Neots and it’s well worth a visit. History of the area is covered really well with lots of archeological findings. Set in the original local police station, with cells.
Extra credit for it being a locally driven project to reflect the importance of St Neots and it’s locals...and all for £3.

Really cute little museum, friendly staff. Great way to spend a rainy afternoon with the kids! Police cells really interesting, quick overview of history from prehistoric through to modern day downstairs and a 1930’s house upstairs. we particularly liked the school room with anecdotes from local people reminiscing about their school days and slates to write on (bought one in the gift shop in fact!).

A friend and I had a day out in St Neots, and neither of us had been before. It was extremely interesting, and as my friend was local, and her partner was at school in St Neots, there was a lot of photos to look at, which she recognised many of the older places which have now been knocked down. It is free entry, buy donations are welcome. Local people have made lots of Christmas themed goodies, reasonably priced, and well worth a visit before Christmas.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Local tourists information available.
It is a very nice little local museum. The police cells and exhibition are particularly Interesting and worth a visit, even if you don’t have time for anything else.
There is also a good arty bistro opposite. Yummy good and reasonable.

This Musium is a must visit in st.neots, everything well explained,you can buy books,post cards , pictures ect ect ...all the staff are very helpful. reasonable entrance fee,some of the products are really interesting. Worth a visit with your children because they can learn the history of our st.neots town .
