One of four valleys in the center of Bahutan. Ura The beautiful village of thevalley with its fabric artists and the temple in the center are the highlights.

This valley is very attractive.The valley is sorrounded by the lush terraced fields.I enjoyed here Very much.

Hello Folks.
Situated at an elevation of 3100mts below Thrumshingla is the highest valley of Bumthang district, Ura Valley. The valley is surrounded by the lush terraced fields, beautiful zig-zag roads, black mountains and lofty hills dotted with alpine trees. It is known for its scenic view of beautiful meadows and verdant serene valley. It lies in central Bhutan and normally considered as Gateway to Eastern Bhutan. One can have jaw dropping, when you see the valley. A complete 8-10 hours drive from Paro District, crossing some high passes like Pele La Pass, Yutola Pass and some pristine villages. I stayed in Home Stay and had a very pleasant time there. A walk around fields, ancient homes and simmering cold winds made my stay there memorable. Talking to local people’s, getting some insights about how they survive here is something I liked the most. If you’re planning Bhutan tour and you have more than 10 days, then please include this place in your list. You will never regret if you visit here. Ura Valley has grown its prosperous importance but yet it has remained untouched by the ruckus of modernized society and considered as isolated places. A highly recommended place to visit.
