What a lovely visual experience. It was well laid out, there was live music, fire pits, food & drinks, even some outdoor games

Sensorio was fantastic. Lots of lights. Concession stands offered drinks and food. Ideal time to go is dusk. Skip the VIP tickets which get you seats on the hill and a fireplace. Towers of light were pretty cool. We went with 9 and 12 year olds. It’s is a very easy walk. About .5 miles. Would have preferred a longer walk. It was over too fast.

What a great thing to be able to do during Covid. Open air and reduced crowds are great. Pro-Tip: Go early while the sound is still up. Walk the loop during the sunset hour and walk it again when it's dark. You'll be glad you did. The mood and emotions change as the light goes down. It's beautiful in the light and in the dark.
The Food trucks are ok, there's burgers, pizza, Mexican food and drinks. Nothing to write home about.

Incredible experience that wowed the whole family -- even our college student. We didn't add on any of the extras; the base ticket was beyond adequate. Don't miss this unique otherworldly outdoor experience.

Go before it gets dark, to watch the transformation of the lights illuminating. So cool! It was quite cold, and several in our party weren't dressed heavily enough, so we didn't get to stay and enjoy the live music and games. We all agreed it was awesome, but $49 is pricey, it should be in the $20-30 range.

Unbelievable visuals, I’d honestly go as far as to say it was one of the best nights of my life. Arrived before the sun went down and that just added to the evening, sat by the fire pits listening to the jazz band before sunset and then the lights just WOW. This is one of those you’ll be telling people for years. It was a better night then loosing my virginity. I was almost brought to tears when I walked round and saw the light. The towers are amazing aswell the tribe music adds an extra element to make it all that better. Definitely recommend and I’ll be going again.

Visited on a cool, crisp Jan 1st and was blown away. What an amazing evening that exceeded my expectations. We did the Terrace experience and spent a lot of time at the fire pits which were amazingly warm and allowed us to linger with wine in hand from sunset 5:00 pm till about 8 pm. The walk trough the light installation was flat-out amazing and the setting amongst the oaks and rolling hills was just perfect. I was concerned it would be a little Vegas but it absolutely was not, the combination of stars twinkling and a 'million' lights sparkling was magic!

We paid the nearly double price for VIP to be told by the lady at security to "get to the back of the line". Which we had to sit through to speak to anyone at the box office. Nearly $90/ticket and they had 2 people checking bags at security. The girl at the box office wasn't very helpful and we regret buying general admission tickets after she refunded the VIP tickets - even at half the price, this was not worth the price. The place was so packed it made it nearly impossible to navigate the pathways. They say it should take 60-90 minutes and we walked through in less than half the time, the remainder must be for all the people standing in the way taking photos.

This was an experience of a lifetime. Go when it opens so you can be there when the lights start to come up as the sun goes down. Don't forget a stop at one of the food trucks before you enter or upon your exit. Great fun!

I went with my college grad daughter, and we enjoyed a great walk around Sensorio and the towers bundled in our winter jackets. Then we enjoyed drinks by the cozy firepits with appropriate live music, and walked around the lights one more time before leaving. We spent 2 hours with a full moon over the light displays and would return in the future.

Sorry, I cannot help. I bought ours online. It is a beautiful event and one I highly recommend.
The VIP experience mentions dinner and private bathrooms. Are those same dinner items available for purchase there? Also, don't see anything about "general admission" bathrooms. Is it... porter potties or something kind of nasty?

I believe when they talk about dinner they are just referring to the fact that VIP people have tables to sit at and eat. Regular admission does not have access to the VIP Terrace and one fast food building with the tables. Currently the two food trucks are available to all (the taco truck was DELICIOUS) and then VIP have a place to sit on the terrace with tables. Non-VIP would need to sit on the wall edges or go back to where the music stage is to have a seat and hold the food on their laps. In the future, they said they will have 2 restaurant areas of sorts but they have not completed construction yet. I think they are supposed to be completed in the next 3 years. As far as bathrooms, I don't recall noticing the ones outside of the VIP area, but I also don't recall seeing any port-a-potties. So I THINK they must have had a building there but I'm not sure. Anyone else know?

I've seen some reviews mention a dinner with the VIP experience, but I don't seen anything about it on their website. Is this still a thing or have they stopped doing it?

I know it says no refund, but I figured that meant if the visitor was to cancel, not them. I know they do not email back or return calls. Has anyone not gotten a refund and canceled the charge on Am Ex?

If I buy a ticket for a certain time can I arrive at any point after my ticket time or do I have to be there when the time is marked. I'm nervous I might be late driving down from SF and want to make sure I'm still going to be let in if I arrive at 7:30pm for my 7:00pm ticket. It does say 7:00pm-11:00pm. Thanks.

They were so flexible when we.arrived that i don't think it is. a. problem at all. The main. thing. is just that they. don't want people. to. show up too early, but the window after than is pretty open

I do not believe dogs are not allowed. However, I'm certain special needs dogs are allowed. It is really dark on the trail while walking among the lights if a dog has to go potty.

1. I have a 26’ RV. Is there adequate parking for my vehicle? Might they have a special area for RVs to park?
2. I have looked at the map. How much walking is there if you walk from the main entrance to the “light towers” which appears to be the furthest point from the entrance?

I believe there is parking for larger vehicles. The lights are not that far a leisurely walk that can be enjoyed by an advantage point. (You will pass by food vendors before the lights) However, when you walk within the lights, it is a one way adventure which is about a mile walk. Defiantly worth the trip.

From what I understand, if the event is sold out, you may go and stand in line as a standby. As people leave, there may be room for you and your family.

As mentioned earlier, the cost of VIP is on their website. I would highly recommend VIP - early and dedicated entry, meal included, private picnic/food area and restroom. The VIP meal comes with meal, salad/side, dessert and two glasses of local wine. Also, the picnic area overlooks the installation - great view, especially for sunset.
