We were visiting Monterey for the weekend. After a full day of sightseeing, we went to dinner and saw the Monterey Bowling Lanes. The cost was a little pricey. We went on the special which was $20 per person for 2 hours of bowling after 9pm on Saturday. The shoes were $4.75 per person. For $55, for two people, and two hours we got unlimited bowling. The balls and lanes and score board worked well. Tge facility was family friendly. No outside food or drinks are allowed. After we went to the bar at the facility and played pool. The table and sticks were well maintained. I will definitely go again, when in the area.

Came here one evening and we had a pretty good time! Prices aren't horrible and the equipment is maintained well enough. There is a bar and food service. Food was rather expensive but not bad. Would return

We made reservations to make sure we'd have lanes ahead of time. We had 2 lanes for 1 hour and it was over $75 with shoes.
We sure had a terrific time, the place was clean and the shoe attendants helpful.
They do have a cafe here and they do serve alcohol.

Great bowling alley for a relaxing few games. Good bar and prices and a great deal on a Monday night.

We went here with friends on a Saturday night package - two hours of bowling, with pizza and soft drinks, package is $69.95. A good deal considering that the four of us bowled 3 games, and had an excellent pizza with soft drinks. Except for some pin reset problems, it was a great night out.

This bowling facility has been much improved over the last year, but the prices have been raised substantially. At $7.50 per person per game, it's very pricey entertainment.

15 of us went bowling as part of our family reunion over Mother's Day weekend. I called and arranged everything by phone for 5:00 on a Saturday night. We had the first three lanes reserved. One hour w/ 3 lanes, was about $10.00 per person . Shoes were extra. They had a deal going for two hours of bowling but really, one hour was enough for this group. We arrived a bit early to get our shoes and pick out the correct size bowling balls. Remember to bring your own socks if you want them. Or, you can buy them there. I think my niece paid $4.00 for a pair of plain white socks. We asked for the "bumpers" to be put up since we had a few little kids in our group. It keeps any wildly thrown balls from ending up in the wrong lane. Some of the adults sure needed this help as well. They also have this thing that sort of looks like a slide you put the ball on and it rolls down and on to the alley...good for the little ones and someone in our family who was not able to actually throw the ball. Over all we were very impressed w/the facility. It was smokeless and spotless. No overly loud music. No wild and crazy people hanging out, or at least not when we were there. They have a little snack bar that we only ordered drinks from since we were all going to dinner after bowling. Getting this group organized was like herding cats but the staff was as friendly and patient w/us all as could be. We will be back for a rematch next year.

We enjoyed bowling at Monterey Lanes. Its a good place to go. They have individual as well as league bowling. Staff here is very nice.
