Esta en San Juan la Laguna no en San Marcos.
Primera parada al llegar a puerto después de atravesar el lago más bello del Mundo.
Marielena excelente anfitriona y paciente para aclarar dudas del Cacao.
Si te gusta lo dulce y su historia este es un gran lugar donde lo disfrutarás.

Estupendo lugar! Maria Elena nos recibió y nos dio explicaciones completas sobre el proceso del cacao. Nos dio muestras de los diferentes productos a los cuales se puede acceder y sus usos medicinales. El aroma del local es delicioso y las bebidas energizantes! Hay chocolate para todas las necesidades. No puedo esperar a tomarme una taza del chocolate que llevamos a casa!

This review is for the Store located in San Pedro, la Laguna as it's the same company but only has a San Marcos location listed. We had heard of the Mayan ceremonial drinking chocolate and how delicious and pure it was. We went in and had a cup and it was the best hot cacao I have ever tasted in my life. Being December and Christmastime we though this would be a great gift for family so went and purchased 11 packs of the drinking chocolate, and a couple bars of their handmade soap. The staff was very friendly and gave us samples of the cacao, cacao liquor, showed us the process and steps in making the cacao. We will definitely be back and their chocolate is definitely going to be a staple take home item when we visit the lake from the US. For those saying the pricing was high, I disagree, it was fair and on point for the quality of the product. $7 or 45Q for a pack of cacao that makes 8 large cups of cacao.

This place is really about buying coffee and chocolate (and its products). They do have a good range of items, although quite pricey. It was a pleasant space but very disorganised serving very poor coffee

Super friendly.. they offer you samples of they're alcoholic chocolate beverages. Yummmmy!They even have samples of every home made chocolate they make. They even have they're own lotions and soaps. We were super happy we went.

Two women met me at the door and immediately starting telling me what I should buy and putting it in a basket. No one else was in the store, I wanted to look around but they continued following me. I had planned to buy some things mentioned by previous reviews but I left with nothing. I am a 67 year old woman and they acted like I was going to steal things. Very uncomfortable.

It was a bit of a rough ride that day on the lake and by the time we made it to this stop I had a hell of a headache. We got to see how they make everything and the Chocolate tea they made kicked my headache right out of my head! It was great a shot of the Rum didn't hurt either and it was easily one of the funnest stops on the tour! You can bet I brought some tea home with me!

Great place, guy that helped me knows what he is talking about, many types of cacao and chocalate available. No discount with several purchases neither a small thank you gift. Apparently the manager does not see the value of this.

I live in Ecuador, have been to several places that process chocolate and this was the most informative demo I've attended! I had no idea that the first week they ferment the pods in banana leaves and make chocolate alcohol!
Vicky performed the demo in very good English and was a delight.
I bought really good chocolate beans, take off the shell and make tea, and the whole toasted bean is what we call nibs. Pure 100% chocolate...this is very stimulating...great to keep in your pocket when traveling...pop a few about 3pm.
I also bought their tea and homemade soap.
Highly recommend this AND later we had lunch at the restaurant on the top of this building. Yummy and a great view.

Hello,
I am not 100% sure, but if you call them, which they mainly speak Spanish, you may be able to place an order over the phone and have it shipped. When I was there last in March 2019 they were still working on setting up online orders.
